I used glycolic acids 10% on my face during my 20's from what was Apha Hydroxy now Alpha but in my 30's it started to burn my skin and left me scarred so I switched to lactic acid 15%. Now in my late 40's I only use it in a wash 10% and let it sit on my skin for 3-5 minutes 4 times a week. What I do now is I add a lot more moisturizers than I used to because I used to be oilier but having used tretinoin for almost 7 years now my skin is less oily and my moisturizer use is rich but light with the better options available. My skin is even and plump as I head to 50! On my body I use Amlactin with 12% lactic acid and the Gold Bond with retinol and top with Vaseline.

Ty for the information. Rn am using kojic acid and coconut oil like you sd in the video. I think the kojic is like the cream you stooped using i have forgotten the name gluta something. It drys my skin way too quickly reason why i started adding coconut oil to lock in moisture. And to worsen issues its not doing a damn thing. If not for the coconut oil that is helping i dont think my skin will.look any good. I have seen the advanced clinicals and i will.look up the others. Pls can you make a video of products for kids 🙏🏽 I think its hardly talked abt yet a thing. My kids skin are dry and thier knuckles even dryer and alot more darker. PS. WE LIVE IN A HOT AND DRY CLIMATE. Any rich moisturiser that also helps brighten for kids and also a good sunscreen will be appreciated.

Hi Joy, Yeah,Kojic acid can be quite drying and I think you made a good choice with the coconut oil. Do you use it during the day? And do you use a body sunscreen for the exposed part of your body? As something for kids,I’ll look into it💕

I use advanced clinical vitamin C and its new 10% glycolic and Lactic cream together. But make sure you wear sunscreen. It brightens my thighs within 2 months. When I use it I make sure my whole body is fully covered.

I honestly wouldn’t suggest you use it on your face as the skin on the face is a bit more fragile.Best to have a separate product for your face.
