I love Erika so much like I only found her channel almost a year ago and I am already obsessed like she’s one of the only people I watch on KZbin and she even inspired me to start my own vlogging channel which I was scared to start because I didn’t know if I would get made fun of but she gave me the courage to do it (I haven’t made any videos but I’m planning on doing so) she also helped me be comfortable with being myself around other people and she also encouraged me to get closer with God and start reading my bible a lot more. for curling your hair i would spray less heat protectant and make sure it’s all dry before you start curling! personally my hair is pretty thick too so i have to hold it on the wand for more time, and i don’t brush out my curls and just let them fall naturally :))

To curl your hair- Open the clamp, put your hair in between the barrel and the clamp, release the clamp, then slide the iron down your hair, then roll the iron inward as far towards your scalp without burning it, hold it for 10-20 seconds before you use a circular motion while creating tension to unwrap it, then I use my fingers to hold the twist before spraying it with hairspray and then letting it go and having it sit in the tight curl while I do the rest of my hair then I spray my head before brushing the curls out and spraying them one last time

hey erika!! i’m a 14 y/o girl with super curly/frizzy hair and I curl my hair literally everyday with a curling iron so I hope this is helpful!! so basically what you’ll wanna do is take a piece of your hair and clamp it at the root and then pull it about halfway down then twist away from ur face. you’ll twist it all the way to the root then release, pull to the bottom and then twist back up to ur root. this way your whole piece of hair gets curled and it’s not just at the bottom. I hope this helped it may be confusing to understand just being typed out in a paragraph like this tho haha
