as an extrovert who basically tries her best to socialize and keep in touch with your friends, i've barely realized how sometimes it's better to be in touch with your self, with your own mental health, with your own self and spend time alone. thankyou erika for reminding me and others that it's alright to be alone, it's okay to not be okay and to spend time by yourself because at the end of the day there needs to be a balance between friends and your own self 🤍

Ironically enough i'm turning 13 in a few days and while I was watching this vid it made me contemplate about how when I was nine ish and I was thinking about being 12 thinking about secondary school and what the future has for me and these few years I have endured some kind of struggle (not to compare bc i'm still young and still have many years ahead to define what struggle really is) and whenever thinking about a vast subject the miniscule bad things that happened during that period would overlap my brain instead of all of the fun or enjoyment I had with that person or moment so I never knew how deeply an Erika Diane vid would actually make me reflect and seeing how much you've changed and also how much i've so I'm just struck. Cheers to the 2023 that we have left which i will do in efforts to romanticise and appreciate the good over the bad and I hope this new academic year does us some bit of good ❤
