Sorry it took a while, we had it done days ago but got caught up with all the other new game releases! We recorded on PC in max settings in 4K, but KZbin has refused to process it all the way. Hoping it'll process eventually. During the boss fight versus Phylaks the Warrior, the recording glitched out. And unfortunately with Destiny, you can't redo a campaign mission so you might notice we abruptly jump to the end of the mission without showing us defeating him. But other than that, everything else is good. We hope you enjoy!

I believe darkness took them, if you notice, these planets are all fairly far from earth, the origin point of the traveler's light burst, and the tangled shore will be removed soon, which is in the asteroid belt, I figure, that by the time of light-filled, the darkness will reach earth, but thats just a theory.. Destiny was made by a different team. Destiny is not Halo. Destiny was made by Bungie with a different team. The Destiny art direction and story is way lower than Halo. Covenant and forerunners are better than the Cabal or Hive. Activision contracted for a Halo game not Destiny which is why Bungie got fired.

I played destiny 2 back in the day, had a great time but never played the DLCs. Can someone explain the pyramids to me? I remember the credits scene where the travelers light awoken them. Saw some theories that they were the TRUE darkness and were going to be the main enemy in Destiny 3. Can someone give me a rundown?

So from the way I understand it, the pyramids are the Darkness, or at least some form of it. The final mission from the previous expansion, Shadowkeep, is on the moon where you go inside one of the pyramids and the Darkness corrupts and possesses your ghost, and it starts to tempt you with the Darkness. Then there’s a cutscene at the end of the expansion where you enter a vision where you talk to a dark version of yourself with pyramids in the background, and that dark version of you says that they (the Darkness) are your salvation. I think it’s generally accepted among the Destiny community that the pyramids are the physical manifestation of the Darkness. Then again, I am a casual fan, not some lore master like Byf. I bet there are some videos on Byf’s channel about the pyramids and their connection to the Darkness. Hope this helps.

There is more about them in the lore tabs/recovered books we get. I am hoping as the seasons progress we learn more about them. I know they ran into some issues with being able to schedule the VA for Drifter which lead to some of the funniest improve moments that made it into the game.

WORST EXPANSION EVER. I'm not talking in terms of graphics or art. The new world they've made is beautiful, in a frigid way. I really love the shots of Jupiter from Europa's surface; Bungie really nailed that. No, I'm talking in terms of plot. The plot is awful. Has the Hero of the Red War taken leave of his senses? The Darkness killed billions, maybe trillions, of people in the Collapse. That was just the Collapse. Then there were the Eliksni, and however many species before that, plus all the people the Hive slaughtered with the powers they got with the Darkness. The Darkness makes Hitler look like a part-timer. AND YOU THINK USING IT IS GOING TO END WELL? The Darkness does bad stuff all the time. It must be evil. So it must be morally wrong to use it. And do not tell me I'm being two-dimensional because morality is part of reality. If you think you can transcend reality, you must think you're a god. That's what Oryx and Ghaul said they were. They're dead. Added to that is the rampant hypocrisy and self-contradiction. You're going to kill someone for wielding Stasis, while you're wielding Stasis to kill her? Seriously? And then the Stranger says she comes from a Dark future where all the Guardians embraced the Darkness, so she's trying to stop it by egging on Guardians to embrace the Darkness? She says that Eramis's selfish desires plus the Darkness drove her crazy, and here you are selfishly ignoring your Ghost's hints that he's not doing so well while you wield the Darkness. But the part that really, really ticks me off is that there's no voice of reason, nothing but token resistance from people who should know and do better, no friend brave enough to punch the Hero of the Red War in the face and say, "Dude, you're being stupid! This is wrong! Now let's work together to find a way to do this right.". Nobody. Oh, and the makers of Destiny are manipulating people into accepting all of this garbage with open arms. First Thorns, and then they killed the voice of reason - Cayde- and they've slowly eroded our respect for the Vanguard. Not that I have much left for people who can't take a stand against what they know is wrong, even when they don't know what's right. So I'm calling it out. Those who use the Darkness are playing right into its hands. And I have no tolerance for it.

If you read the lore you’d know that Light and Darkness are neither good nor evil. If anything Light is the reason darkness is what it is. It’s purpose is to be an antithesis to light. Light chose to gift itself to living beings thus prompting darkness to balance it out hence beginning a cycle that only ends once Light ceases to allow itself to be wielded.

When you read lore, first you allow yourself to be caught up in the story. Then you think about what you read, and you judge it. Was this a good story, or was it a waste of my time? Was it well written? Who do I agree with? In the story, the writers want to say that the Light and the Dark transcend morality. But that cannot be. It is not so in the real world, and good stories reflect the real world. The Traveler does good, and it grants the Light. The pyramids do evil, and they grant Darkness. Light is good; Dark is evil. Right and wrong apply to us all. That's why Jesus took the punishment for our wrongdoing --justice had to be satisfied. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I hope my explanation was clarifying.
