Believing all biological life must be purged, Ultron and Sigma forge an alliance. Using the Reality and Space Infinity Stones, they fuse themselves into a single being named "Ultron Sigma", and merge the worlds of Marvel and Capcom into a single dimension, which they seek to rule by unleashing an evolved form of the Sigma virus that puts others under their control. As a result, the heroes of both worlds must band together to retrieve the remaining four Infinity Stones with the now-captured Thanos' help, and defeat both Ultron Sigma's forces and a group of villains led by Jedah Dohma, who wish to terrorize the merged world using the power of the Symbiotes.
The story was good overall, albeit short. It's a good story add on. As expected, it's pretty crazy and all over the place (expected from a crossover game). But in my opinion it's much better than MK vs DC's story, which is it's closest comparison. There are some amazing fight scenes and wonderful pairings.
As always we used all cutscenes, relevant dialogue and important gameplay to stitch together a fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy!

I'll admit, there were some fucking brilliant concepts here. Ryu and Hulk vs the Elder Dragon was fucking hype, and Thanos with the Satsui No Hado is the stuff of legends. While the roster is very lacking, especially on the Capcom side, they probably had the coolest moments. Jedah was by far the best character in the story., and you have no idea how happy I am that they put X in so much spotlight, especially considering how poorly treated the blue bomber is nowadays. However, the look of most characters are dull, and some look horrifying up close. The voice acting is also pretty bad at points, making some character interactions just straight up cringey. I will admit though, Iron Man telling Frank to fight Thanos was comedy gold. Overall, the story was alright. Could've been A LOT worse.

So Marvel and Capcom worlds really did combine: Wakanda (Black Panther) x Val Habar (Monster Hunter) = Valkanda A.I.M (M.O.D.O.K) x Umbrella (Resident Evil) = A.I.M.Brella B.O.W (Resident Evil) x Symbiotes (Spider-Man) Asgard x X's Universe = XGard Dark Dimension (Doctor Strange) x Makai Kingdom (Darkstalkers) = Dark Kingdom Knowhere (Guardians of the Galaxy) x The Third Moon (Strider) = Knowmoon Metro City (Final Fight) x Avengers Tower (Avengers) And many more! I love how Marvel and Capcom put together a story mode for the first time in the MvC franchise. MvC is one of my favorite fighting games, aside from Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken, and Injustice series. I also love playing with Dante, because he is my overall favorite character ever since he came out MvC3 and when I first played DMC series. Devil May Cry is also my favorite hack and slash game, aside from Resident Evil, my second fav. I believe that these two companies did a very good job and added some very good characters to connect with the story. Even though I think they should've added other characters like Vergil, Akuma, Wolverine, and maybe Phoenix or Storm on the roster. (I'm also a huge Marvel fan since I was younger.👍Read comics and everything.😂)

I like the cutscenes and the story this game has. It's practically every Capcom's and Marvel's fans dream. But there are a few things I don't like about the game, one of them is the story itself. I know I said I liked the story, but there is more to it than they had referenced in these cutscenes, such as the convergence storyline, and the characters and their homes merging with one another. Another issue is the roster. There aren't enough characters in it, such as the Fantastic Four, Sakura (Street Fighter), Chuck Green (Dead Rising), Nick Ramos (Dead Rising), Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil), Jill Valentine (Resident Evil), Claire Redfield (Resident Evil), Winter Soldier, Red Falcon, She-Hulk, Redskull, Carnage, and most importantly of all, Deadpool, who was a VERY funny character in the last Capcom Vs Marvel game. Also, the Monster Hunter character and Black Panther were the only two had VERY little screen time in the story. But I enjoyed these cutscenes, they are really good.

If you think about it, Death was the real winner of this story. With the Reality Stone damaged, resurrection for all those killed during the Convergence has become impossible. Whether Ultron Sigma or the heroes won, Death would keep the souls of those killed. Still, I don't like how Death is portrayed as a villain here. Death by itself is a natural part of life and should not be considered evil.

I hope they make the sequel sooner the better with more heroes and villains people always say 2nd one is always better then the first and I agree with that the marvel vs capcom story will be better we just have to look closely and be patient
