GLSDB - Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System. Militarny reports.

Ukraine will soon receive GLSDB missiles with a range of 150 km, which can be launched from ground-based launchers.
This type of weapon was included in the U.S. aid package as early as in February 2023, but the process of manufacturing and testing GLSDB missiles took almost a year.
Finally, Ukraine has become the world's very first operator of this type of weapon in the world.

Ukraine has already used GLSDBs but was limited in the quantity it had, about a month ago when Ukraine hit a air defence command building in Crimea the impact seen from satellite imagery could only be GLSDBs, all 6 hits were exactly parallel and extremely accurate, all hits had delayed fuzes, from the damage it's clear that these were not anything bigger than 250lbs. About 3 months back USA gave an aid package which came with one additional himars launcher with a "surprise", this must of been 1 pack of GLSDBs as those bits cannot be explained as anything else, now that Ukraine has more of them coming the damage they will do will be much more but still limited in some ways.

Cheap drones won't stay in the field much longer counter measures are available and being developed as well they will soon be fairly useless in my opinion .

Maybe, but it doesn't seem to be the case right now. There's a constant stream of daily videos of cheap drones destroying military hardware and killing/maiming soldiers. Like most weapons, there are counter measures to the counter measures. Example: Drone drops hand grenade on soldier. Counter - soldier goes in an armoured vehicle. Counter - drone drops shaped charge anti armor bomblet to defeat top armor of armoured vehicle. Counter - "cope cage" is installed on top of armoured vehicle. Counter - FPV drone is used to attack side/rear armor. Counter - Electronic warfare device added to armoured vehicle. Counter - increased signal strength used for drone comms. Etc, etc...

EW is more expensive than a drone. Hence you will never get perfect coverage. The cheap drones are here to stay. Just the use case that will change.

Do you knows what's funny? Nobody said that in this video or at all really other than you. Why did you say it? Did anyone provoke you to say that? Your either a bot or just an idiot because literally nobody ever says that any of these weapons will win the war or that they are wonder weapons.....yet people like you seem obsessed with repeating this narrative. There are weapons that have been game changers for Ukraine but they never get mentioned by people like you.....why? Patriot, storm shadow, naval drones, himars, long range beaver drone, IRIS-T and javelin are all weapons that have been massively successful and have undoubtedly played a big role in Ukraine's current position but yet you seem to spread this idea that every weapon that Ukraine gets won't make any difference because the war hasnt been finished.....but Ukraine has taken back over half of the land originally taken thanks to those systems.

This weapon is almost obsoleted before it's been deployed. Cheap long range drones are just as effective. Only real advantage of this weapon is the big warhead, and its speed.

drones do not have the ability to destroy buildings, himars has been used to hit concrete command centers. its speed is one of the reasons Russians have a hard time counter measuring it so you proved yourself that its not obsolete.
