A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME AND MY CHANNEL
I’m local to Kansas City but grew up a military brat so travel is in my blood! I married my college sweetheart, Anthony, in 2015. We’re absolutely obsessed with our two fur babies Xander and Willow. (Any other Buffy fans?) Anthony and I knew early on in our relationship that we wanted to have kids as soon as possible. We’ve been fighting the uphill battle of infertility for 5+ years now. Here on my channel, you’ll see a lot of videos pertaining to our trying to conceive (TTC) journey.
Though infertility does not define us, it has been a life-altering thing to go through. We find that this taboo topic is something we want to shine a light on by sharing our raw and real emotions through it. A few other things you’ll see on my channel pertain to lifestyle and wellness. Whether that be mental wellness, physical wellness, and beyond. A few other fun facts about me, I love to binge-watch a good show, sipping on some delicious coffee, and I’m probably planning my next vacation.

I’m so happy for you! My rainbow babe is mama’s boy too. It’s just the best! Love the colors of sheets, after you wash them you could sleep with them lol. If your scent is on the sheets then it can help your little one sleep in their crib when the time comes. I’m sure your nursery will be gorgeous! I love the colors you chose. I remember how surreal it was to buy things but you are so right it is healing. I held off so long that I was rushing at the end with a gift basket for the nurses and doctors when I had my son. I had to have my aunt put together one for me. 😂 anyways can’t wait to see the rest of your journey and your holiday season with your little miracle. ❤️🌈

The smell on the sheets or ur clothing does help. My son was a baby when hubby had to go back home for a week, my son would cry at night so what I did was grab a t-shirt from hubby and put it by his side, my son slept very well.

I’ve been following you for the past almost 4 years. You helped me thorough our fertility journey at resulted in 2 double rainbow babies. I thought of you today and realized I hadn’t seen any of your vids pop up (turning on the bell now) so came back to your channel and I am soooo happy to see your finally getting your sweet miracle. I’ve sat watching your videos before crying along with you because I too knew what it felt like to just long for a baby. I'm 11 weeks with my IVF rainbow baby and I've been anxious this entire time. Unable to buy anything or plan anything baby wise bc I'm so guarded. You're right though, I need to start buying baby things. Maybe I'll start with some inexpensive things.

I got an owlet and it saved my sanity- my baby was early and I know it can go either way with people’s anxiety but I loooooooove mine! Never had any false alarms or anything

I 100% agree about the glucose drink. I was totally into it! But also felt weird afterward. At my appointment the nurse got me some goldfish and water after they took my blood. It made me feel a little better.

After our rainbow baby, we ended up settling with the owlet sock. biggest reason is.. we can use it anywhere in our house. all other camera systems were pretty specific. We found it easier to leave the sock on instead of having to move the camera or whatever. In addition, the Spo2 and heart-rate were more reassuring that breathing wear or other algorithms/ Just our experience in the last 4 months. Glad things are going well!

For info if babies can roll over themselves it’s safe to let them sleep on their front! Ours much prefers it, she only ever sleeps on her back for about half an hour before flipping over. You just need to put them on their back to sleep and leave them to it.

Hey Kelsie, I have been watching your story and never comment but I wanted to know if you or if your followers Clinic used “embryo glue” with transfer? Your story is truly inspiring and like any first time transfer I’ve dived into any helpful tips for my first transfer that is coming up in August. Any advice is truly appreciated, thank! Congratulations on your miracle!

Hi Heather! Great question, I do have experience with embryo glue. It was used in all 3 of my transfers. I think it's somewhat standard practice nowadays, but worth asking if your embryologist uses it as a standard for transfer day!

What are the rules that the OB told you about painting ? My midwife said i shouldn’t and wasn’t supposed to BUT that sounded so weird to me ? So I’m confused as I literally see everyone painting when they are pregnant ? 😂 Also, omg he’s going to be here so soon ! I am soooo excited for you !!!
