Nostalgia of our childhood is a reminder of calm/happy times. If you want a chain garland.....go for it. As a child our teachers taught us how to make a chain garland as a count down to Christmas. We would take off one chain each day until Christmas day was the only chain left

I love the acorns,the pumpkin with pumpkin patch and the pumpkins were so cute. The framed leaf is interesting and I like the spider web. I’m just saying, I loved everything you did. I love the wreath it is very interesting.

These projects are great. They’re unique and original. I like that your video goes slowly enough to see what is being done, but moves along at a quick enough pace that I got bored. I always love dupes. It’s like thumbing our nose at these overpriced stores and saying… “you may find some idiots to pay that ridiculous price, but the rest of us idiots are going to make our own. And next year we will make it into something else.

I did the chains in school in the 50"s , my kids and I did them in the 60's and 70's ...now I do them with my grands and 8 greats. Never pass up a chance to make yourself smile at the little things.

Re your paper ring pumpkin: I have made something very similar to this out of the canning jar rings that are used to seal homemade canned goods. The process is the same. They were very pretty too. And NO, I do not think you are "crazy" for wanting to make paper chains. Even today, there are a lot of decorators that use paper chains as Christmas Tree decorations as well as other things. Go girl, acknowledge your inner child.
