it fails to edit all the cards everytime. I can't do this anymore. it simply doesn't work. I do everything right and it never goes as it supposed to. TT-TT it says: error fail to fetch. I just changed the header and/or added a tag. doesn't work, all cards are deleted.

Hello When I'm triing to add a picture (png file) as a remark, for some reason it only pastes the file path instead of the picture. What's the problem? Thank you!

for some reason, i can't edit my classmate's Image Occlusion enhanced cards. do you know how to fix that? whenever i try i get this message: "can only edit notes with the Image Occlusion Enhanced note type"
@kernel97715 жыл бұрын
You can easily fix this: go to browser (B) and select the card you want to edit. Then click on "edit" in the top-left, then "change note type" and then select "image occlusion enhanced" You will then be able to edit your card

The fact is that there are also other ways besides Image Occlusion Enhanced to create occluded notes, so compatibility issues may arise if you do not first change the note type

Is it possible to have all the occlusions on an image be tested after one another? e.g I want to memorise the Circle of Willis with a seperate card for each label. On future reviews, when the Circle of Willis comes up, can I have each of those cards appear one after another, rather than them be shuffled through with all my other cards in that deck? Once again, thanks!

No, I'm afraid not. To quote something I initially wrote for Cloze Overlapper, but which also applies here: > Cards only appear sequentially as long as they are in the new queue. Once they enter the learning queue or review queue they will start getting scheduled apart. Anki will also randomize the order of cards within a review session, so if you're reviewing multiple cards on one day they might show up out of order. This is completely normal and just part of how Anki's scheduling works. To change this, the add-on would have to perform some pretty extensive modifications to Anki which might a.) interfere with regular reviews and would b.) make the reviewing experience even more inconsistent between Anki and its mobile counterparts. > There are some scenarios where going through the entire sequence at once could be important, though, e.g. in preparation of an exam. In cases like these I'd advise you to either use Anki's preview window (optionally extended through Advanced Previewer), or to create a filtered deckand sort it by card creation time. In the future I will probably also extend Image Occlusion with some of the features found in Cloze Overlapper, e.g. overlapping hints for sequences, pathways ,etc. That should help address use cases like this where memorizing a specific order of labels is important.

Thanks, Glutanimate, for suggesting the filter by tag feat./ sort by creation time as a way of getting around such limitations. I also recommend sending Image Occlusion cards to their own deck, eg, the “Image Occlusion” deck; then, tag by chapter, for example, so that, come study time, all u have to do is filter by tag: Ch 1 + sort by creation time, for example. There’s no point in sending image occlusion (IO) cards to a “regular deck” and having to study them out of order. To keep things nice and tidy, u may want to consider dragging the Image Occlusion deck onto the Regular Deck; in this case, the IO Deck becomes a sub deck of the Regular Deck. Both the Regular Deck cards and the IO Deck cards will still be subject to Anki’s powerful spaced repetition algorithm; just remember to study both decks concurrently. Eg, study Regular Deck cards/ Ch 1 followed by IO Deck cards/ Ch 1

If I have a deck of images (that I made from importing media), can I somehow edit those existing cards? It says "image occlusion cannot edit those notes because they are not the right type" or something like this. Do I really have to re-add these images one at a time?
@Glutanimate7 жыл бұрын
IO only supports editing existing image occlusion notes right now, so yes, I'm afraid so.

I will legitimately pay you/someone to make about 100 images I have into an anki deck with image occlusions. I just don't have the time to do it, but would gladly pay someone for that service. Know of any options?
