Thank you! Trying this during our sheltered in time and have my little girl helping. We are wondering what to do if the bread already has a nice hard deep brown crust on it after 45 m! I probably won't hear from you in time for this one, but we tried turning it down to 300, covering it with aluminum foil and putting a little water in a pan underneath. I know it might ruin the crispy crust, but we don't want to have a super thick inedible crust either. we can always give it a little crisper few minutes at the end or later day. I'll let you know how it goes. Oh and I plan to cut the time down to 65 or 70 m... still deciding.

Miki Lila Wood in other videos I’ve seen the bread is cooked in a Dutch oven with the lid on for the first 30-45 mins about and then it’s cooked for 10-15 mins without the lid for a nice crust

She doesn't give any feedback whatsoever as to how it tastes. Most GF breads I've tasted (and I've tasted a LOT) are pretty bad and the ones I've tried making at home were mostly pretty bad and some I had to throw out and I'm a seasoned baker. I don't feel very motivated or confident in trying this recipe given how she had NO reaction to tasting it. Not a good sign. Just my opinion of course..

Invest in a food mill as I did. All stainless steel and incredibly powerful of course from China but I do not care! They created this food mill for herbs medicine pharmacy use beans grains and it is an awesome machine. I paid 68 from Amazon but ebay has it so does wish web. I received the machine yesterday: I ground oats, quinoa, brown rice, white rice, potato flakes Your artisan bread or almost artisan why almost: well you did not capture your own yeast, take your donkey into the woods cut down trees and chopped wood, built an outdoor bread oven, and the rest to make it Artisan LOL down below your critic says it is not artisan if you use commercial bread. My dad baked incredible breads buying his yeast fresh from the bakery under the el train in Astoria for years until he was over 90. It was healthy but he did not grow the wheat mill the flour. There is a limit in modernity. I call your bread artisan. copied: definition of artisan : a worker in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand.synonyms: craftsman, craftswoman, craftsperson, skilled worker, mechanic, technician, operative, maker, smith, wright, journeyman
@Spinachtiger6 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what your point is. If people don't like the word "artisan" they can use a different word. The idea is that it is rustic and I have no time to worry about words that offend people. If you want to mill your own flour, great!

Full of critics because she's teaching half a knowlage.. artisan baking is a class of bread thst has to follow certain rules to be called artisan... This is artisan style bread...
@rowdeo89686 жыл бұрын
While I agree, try starting your own yeast capturing it is not easy for an everyday person. I have done it as I make many foods that need cultures. So tell her to change it to allmost artisan. copied definition:::a worker in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand. synonyms: craftsman, craftswoman, craftsperson, skilled worker, mechanic, technician, operative, maker, smith, wright, journeyman----------pretty hard to expect product integrity in modernity.
