Tried and it came out great!! Tasted good and the quality/ texture was surprisingly quite similar to traditional gluten bread

After making chickpea or soybean milk I always have the pulp left over for making bread, and I find chickpea pulp makes a better bread as it tends to be fluffier.

Sorry love to make this but do I turn the oven off after 1hr and 15mins but still leave the bread there til it cools?

After baking the bread at 190°C for 1 hour turn off the oven and leave the Bread in the oven for 15 min

It mean to turn the oven off and without opening it leave the bread in it for some time

You could try with chia seeds or starch about 30g

Baking in a turned off oven? So I preheat the oven at 190, put the bread in, close It, turn it off and wait for an hour and 15 min?

First bake your bread for 1 hour at 190°C and then turn the oven off and bake for another 15 minutes in a turned-off oven. 🙂

This should be added to the video I was confused as to how the bread could cook in a turned off oven. Bacteria growth!!

@@healthyvegankitchen1263 This is the first time it's actually been clear about baking. Your video suggests baking in a turned-off oven from the start for 1 hr 15 mins. Very misleading. Glad that was cleared up!

I haven't tried yeast in this recipe. I would say yeast is less healthy but not 100% sure

Can I use baking powder instead of acv/bicarb? If so how many grams? 5g?

Yes, you can. You put 2tsp of baking powder

Anytime. 🙂 You need some binding ingredient in the recipe like flax flour. You can add starch or ground chia seeds instead. 🤞🏻

Sorry, the instructions are misleading. Bake it for 1 hour at 190°C and then turn the oven off and leave the bread in the turned off oven for 15 minute.

Chickpea flour- 300g H20- 440 ml -Flaxseeds- 40g -Salt- 1/2tsp -GF baking powder- 1tsp -Baking soda- 1tsp -Apple cider vinegar- 1tbsp -Water-440ml

I made it and it came out so dense and raw 😞 don’t know what I did wrong? Edited: I’m watching the video again and I added oat flour 🤦🏻‍♀️ my bad your recipe doesn’t call for it, I got confused with a chickpea cookie recipe 😬 I make a lot.

@@healthyvegankitchen1263 thanks for the quick reply, I used homemade chickpea flour, and like 2 extra table spoons of oat flour. I would love to try again though. Could I use cooked chickpeas?

No cooked chickpeas won't work. I used store bought Chickpea flour. Leave out oat flour 'cause it's heavier and stickier
