Did they work out for you? My dough stayed tacky and I had to use a scoop even after 3-5 minutes of mixing.

Why sugar?

I have tried this but my rough didn't go solid like yours, and was not kneadable. I added extra rice flour but the dough was super sticky and I had to use an extra large cookie scoop and roll them in rice flour to handle them. I weigh all of my ingredients so the units were accurate. Any idea why my results were so different? My yeast mix was good and foamy too. I may try again and use less water. They're not in baking yet, and I hope they rise. The dough is too soft to slice with a razor but I may score each one once. You didn't show the full mixing process and consistency in your video.

Did you use 20 g of psyllium husk powder ? The dough can be sticky. If the dough is sticky, add some rice flour on the work surface.

@@SoFreshRecipes Hello, your recipe only says 20g Psyllium husk (implying whole husk) and not 20g Psyllium husk powder. Your video shows you used whole husk, and that is what I used as well. I must have added at least an extra 1/4c of white rice flour and it was still sticky and wouldn't hold it's shape. I'll try again but I may split the water so the yeast proofs in a lesser amount and I can add the remainder as needed to get the right consistency. Thank you for replying and trying to help clarify my problem. I'm see if it was operator error!!

@@sharonluke7686 I used 20g Psyllium husk too. It's a good idea to use less water at the beginning to get the right consistency. The dough should be little bit sticky.

@@SoFreshRecipes I noticed your written instructions in the memo of the video includes Millet Flour, however your video itself and the transcript don't show you adding this ingredient. When I made them again, I included the millet flour but they still didn't turn out the way yours did. Your video shows you starting to mix the ingredients together but cuts off and connects again when it is already in dough form in the bowl. There is nothing in between to show the consistency of the mix or how long it took to get to the finishing dough stage shown. In future, it always helps when the presenter shows the consistency of the batter/dough throughout the process and explains how long it took to get to the next stage. Thank you, but I doubt I will try this again. I have wasted and thrown out a lot of ingredients giving this a go.
