If this watch was solar I would have it already, after I got a gshock with multiband 6 and solar I can never go back there is something so satisfying knowing that your watch is always on point and essentially can last you forever. It would be incredibly useful in a grid down type situation

You need to change the battery after 10 years in solar watches, they don't last forever, for that reason I don't like solar watches, I prefer non solar watches.

In this watch I like the functionality and the crisp LCD. In the other side, I am not a big fan of the glossy finish in the bezel and the bands, because it seems that they can be scratched easily.

not in my opinion. I have a 6 inch wrist and it fits and looks fine. I use the 3rd hole on the band and that gives a firm fit.

Yo man would you might be able to tell me what’s wrong with mine? When I use the back light I’m not able to see the digital numbers , just shows the green backlight , its only when I tilt it a little that I’m able to see the digital numbers on it. Do you think it might be a battery issue?

I just asked this on WUS, and apparently the G-Lide is slightly larger than the rest of the 5600's and they are not interchangeable.
