Nice! Looks great on your wrist! I'm considering getting a Glycine myself! They have an excellent reputation within the watch community and even though Invicta purchased them the quality was not affected and they are still assembled in Switzerland. Thanks for a nice review!

Thanks for watching. If you get a Glycine, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I've put quite a bit more wear and tear on this one since this video, but it's still going strong.

Great watch and thanks for sharing! You can regulate this movement quite easily

Thanks, I have so many watches the list time doesn't bother me much because I'm always switching them up. I'd definitely get it regulated if it were my only one

You know you’ll magnetize your watch by putting it against electronics let alone the speaker in your phone. That will definitely throw the time off.

Not impossible, but highly unlikely. Watches come in close contact with phones all day long. The electromagnetic field emanating from the phone is negligible. Source: Guess what type of technician I am.

Thank you showing 👍Recently i bought a 36 mm Combat (used). (you must have shown your dog…dog-content is good for the clicks ;)

I like the dials on those 36mm versions, but they are too small for me. Date at 6:00 and applied indeces with the military time is really cool. I'm hoping they do one in that style in 42mm

@@technicianiv1776 As i have a small wrist, 36mm is perfect for me, but more difficult to find the one i like. In the 70-80’s it was easier, because more ordinary.

Great looking watch. Wish my wrists were bigger...or the dimensions were a little smaller.

Thanks, there are some smaller Combat Subs available from Glycine

Whats the exact movement on this watch?
@technicianiv17767 ай бұрын
Swiss Made movement GL293 based on Sellita SW330
@simonbailey21517 ай бұрын
It’s the Sellita movement with a custom Glycine rotor, and the movement itself is derived (well, basically an authorised clone) from the ETA 2893.

How hard is it to read the date being red in color?
@technicianiv17763 ай бұрын
It's pretty difficult. Under most indoor lighting conditions, it is almost a completely useless feature. It's a bit easier in sunlight, but even then it can be difficult. I'm definitely not catching it at a quick glance. IMO this is still the biggest drawback on this model. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I would understand if it was for others
@bon21983 ай бұрын
@@technicianiv1776 yeah, I love the 1052 but good luck finding that one anymore as that had all the right colors to see perfectly. I have the Ronda colored one which is a beaut as well and easy to read which is important to me to see the date without pulling out my phone.

Where did you buy this watch from mate? I can't find it for under $1300. I can find the red/blue one for $700 though.

I got it from Ashford, but it was on a flash sale. Best advice I can give is just keep checking there and/ or ebay
