you're a nice guy dude. And obviously you know what you're doing because not every backyard mechanic has a Shop full of Snap-on. So thank you for taking the time to make such informative easy-to-understand videos.

Did you fix your transmission?
@WandersOfficial2 жыл бұрын
@@moodybluemotorsportsDwneKnos luckily the builder who did it for me just under 2 years ago...said hed go thru it all for 250$ i took it to him and we went thru the oan and valve body together so he could show me what to look for and how to air test it. we were gonna run the extendo pin but he said theres a little to much junk in the pan for him to feel comfortable with that. so hes gonna hook me up , go thru it and get the reverse band changed out and inspect it all... totally worth the learning lesson to have him do it. i have another 4l80e with reverse,1,2 that i will run thru when i get a rebuild kit. Thanks for asking and teaching.!.

I guess this must be my problem. Because I do still have reverse. It's just very very very weak. I have to full throttle it to get the car to barely move.

Same problem Bentley Arnage's have (98-02) they lose reverse on their 4L80e's

Did you fix the Reverse issue?
@Broncocarl925 жыл бұрын
yes
@adamkorekach99365 жыл бұрын
@@Broncocarl92 This is the main problem with my 2004 Silverado 2500HD. Still no reverse. When I dropped the pan and removed the reverse servo cover, the E-clip was broken off the reverse apply pin and the pieces were in the servo cover. I got a new billet aluminum reverse servo piston, put new seals on, new E-clip, and even a Sonnax apply pin repair upgrade. Put it all back together and STILL no reverse!

@@adamkorekach9936 what did you end up doing? Swapping trans? Selling truck? about to tackle this same nonsense.
@adamkorekach99362 жыл бұрын
Three years later and I’m still driving the truck, with no reverse and no engine braking when manually shifted into 1st. I’m such a procrastinator! I ordered another pin extensor kit off eBay yesterday and gonna make another attempt. If that fails as well, I will pull the transmission.

Y not replace pin with a adjustable one
@timcrary42495 жыл бұрын
What a stupid gm ,every one has and adjustment bolt and jam nut!!
@CadillacPat13 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing. Why couldn't GM have one on the cover for adjustment w/o taking the valve body/servo out?
