I think lichess ratings are about 400 to 500 points higher, so they are probably around 1500 elo

Lichess elo is right where it is. Accurate. But not after 10 games played. You can be 2000rated after 5 games or 10 000 games. One or the other no rating was shown in a video. Just a statement. So 900 game it was in this vid.

​@roqsteady5290 thats true at 1500 lichess, but the curve actually evens out by around 2100 lichess, so 2000 would probably be about 1800-1900 cc

Seriously though, what should a typical fide rating for a 2000 lichess player be? I've seen a video on this but the answer it gave was hard to believe.

Nope my friend is 1600 fide rapid and his lichess rating is 2080(rapid) ish

No rating was shown. Prolly kid was 900 and tried to flex. Sfter first 3 moves its an obvious donkey game. Nothing close to 2000.

2000 on Lichess blitz, not 2000 OTB. I guess this is why he's always saying "What, are these Lichess ratings?" when high-rated players make crappy moves.

Honestly, these videos are kinda sad. Thoroughly mediocre games by mediocre players,and the analysis doesn't contain much to help them improve. What's the point? If you want a GM to analyze one of your games, pick a game where you think you did pretty well but you still lost and it wasn't because of an obvious material-losing blunder.

Im thinking not 2000 rated.... After first 3 moves its obvuous donka fonka 900's game. Later maybe 1200 donkey level chess. For 2000's it was like everything wrong with the moves. Kids just wanted to feel better about themselves.
