GM Bose amplifier harness and subwoofer installation in a Chevy Malibu/Impala 2015-2022

2017-2019 Chevy Malibu LS Non-Bose system aftermarket amplifier installation. We use our Loop back harness to create a high level out 5 foot lead to feed signal into an Audio control LC7i that will then create a low level signal for the aftermarket amps to use. That amped power will then return back into the loop harness and into the factory wiring eliminating the need to run new wires.
This harness is also compatible with the 2015-2019 impala new body Style.

None bose with factory amplifier will use this harness also same place. 2013-2015 none amplifier will have a green or tan connection behind the screen we have harness for that 2

Best Buy just attempted to install my new Alpine R series door speakers and amplifier. Also amplifier for my 2 JL audio subs. They had the car for 8 hours and I get it back with my front drivers speaker not working and none of the new door speakers installed. Amp and Lc7i installed but they butchered the factory harness into the amp. I'm hella mad!!!

The purple wire on the factory harness to the stock amp is for the anc, cut that and no more anc, I might try and depin that wire from the factory plug and test chimes, Bluetooth, etc.

Great info on running power wire. However, how do you access the interior side of the pass-through grommet behind the cabin air filter?

The wire comes in right below the filter so the wire will run down at a steep angle for 2 or so inches then it will pop out for you to grab. You can also run it under the cab and come up with a rain tight .

I got a amp and hooked up in my 2018 impala. A metal object slid onto to positive a negative hook up and I think I blowed a fuseAnd I checked all the ones I thought it could be and I haven’t found a blown fuses or somewhere else I could check

Hello Carlos not all of the sedans gave the factory amp . take 5 minutes to verify if you do or don't. if you do not have the amp then you connections will be done behind the glove box above the kick panel.

when I also try to have the bass higher, it like cuts off my subwoofer to when I’m driving and when I press my break it like cuts it off for a bit, why is that , I have to use it on L6 which turns my Malibu Chevy 2018 LT to automatic and shuts off the auto stop to prevent my 12” kicker from cutting off when I drive it on regular drive, cuz my car has auto stop, so even when I drive it on L6 , the auto stop is off, but when I press my brake at a stop it still cuts off only when I have a high bass.

I have a 2016 Malibu with the same type of battery connections. I only have one amp connected to my battery terminal like you have, but my bass seems to cut off when I come to a stop for a period of time and release my foot off the brake. I thought this was do to the start/stop feature but I see that you have ran the power wire the same way. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong or what could be the problem? By the way, I'm running an aftermarket android radio if that makes a difference. I have a simple installation and everything works PERFECT except for that one issue. Thanks!

Hi J Flyy.. there are 2 ways of doing this ..one is to install an independent battery for your system the other is to press the button with the A that has the half circle over it this will have to be pressed every time u use your car

@@dr.j0623 The "A" button might not exist on your car. Read this article (my.chevrolet.com/learnAbout/stop-start) and it'll explain. "Disabling Stop/Start Some vehicles have a button to turn off Stop/Start. If your vehicle is equipped with the Stop/Start deactivation switch, you can push the switch to disable Stop/Start. The switch is the button with the capital letter A within a circled arrow. If you want to disable Stop/Start, you must disable the feature each time you start the vehicle." I don't have it on my '18 Malibu

@@mandoosuna9293 hello, yes the ANC stands for active noise canceling. This system plays the negative frequancy in your audio system to make the cab of the vehicle insulat from ouside noise. When the engine in high rmp the anc kicks in to try and toon out the engine. In some vehicle the anc is actually use to make your engine sound louder inside then it actually is. When this is fed into the loc or amp the sub growls
