Not if you use a dsp amp that allows you to manage the intensity of that frequency. Lets say the chim is at 17khz and peek at +3db when it goes off. But after the amplifier its now +6 so if you have a DSP built in you can target that frequency 17khz and set the max DB for the 17khz -3 or 4 DB so the chim is back to normal

Somtimes the length of the cord is the issue. I would try a direct connection to the usb input of the radio to test and see if that works

Hello, you woukd want a loopback harness with a dsp/amp or with a link4/linkDQ this will give you the 6 rca options you need to add any amplifier configuration you want

The LINKDQ or BassRESTOR are the 2 best options

For that you would use a dsp to limit the Dbs at the frequency the chimes use to lower the intensity of the audio

Hello Daniel, for something like that I would suggest our R2G T-harness with a linkDQ. This loc has a parametric eq built in ot that allows you to correct any bass roll off and remains all factory functions as is. You could use the same harness in both vehicles so long as you dont have the alpine or H&K systems.

​@lljcustomscaraudiofabricat7854 cool yeah I been studying that manual front and back trying to figure where I should set it lol. Right now it's around 38hz with 2db boost and on wide. Sounds like some low frequency songs really pound and some are not. I figured if my box is tuned to 33hz I didn't need to be right on 33hz. But if I play bass tones from 33hz to 60hz they sound loud as well. So maybe jus some songs have crazy bass notes. My jus play with it jus don't have rta to see where or if I do have allt of bass roll off

​@lljcustomscaraudiofabricat7854 hey dude question, if I do a frequency sweep like from 30hz to 45hz and measure the output with a volt meter should it be roughly close to the same? Jus trying to figure out where I need to set my parametric eq setting and how much boost to give it. I know my subwoofer ported box is tuned to 33hz should I set parametric eq close to that frequency? I did a 30hz to 40hz sweep and almost sounded like 35hz 36,37,38 rolling off then started picking up at like 39 40hz range. Was gonna see if I could measure it someone with a volt meter to check jus wasn't sure how or if I could do that and jus measure voltage from my sub amp speaker terminals. Thanks

Was jus trying to figure out if that's how I will have to repair my frequencys or would I play a 40hz -0 db track and see what the rta says that way to make the repairs? Thanks

Thats a great question. So the frequency you should be after is the one that your box is tuned for and that your subs can play. You can use an RTA of a multimeter while playing the frequency you think os rolling off and.

@lljcustomscaraudiofabricat7854 cool well my box is tuned to 33hz and after installing the wavetechDQ It jus sounds like my subs are not playing all the bass notes hard it's like jus some bass notes on songs play good but it's like only certain songs I play have alot of bass when I know the song has bass if that makes since. I may need to check make sure I'm getting atleast 5v rca going into my sub amp. Which I know my amp is way bigger then the subs and shop might have turned it down but still think it would hit 80hz and down bass notes. I think I have the parametric eq set around 38 or 39hz on the wavetechDQ right now and it's on wide

Absolutely, you can use a dsp or an amp that takes high level in and gives a sub out to add 2 amps or more

The T-harness will allow you to power an loc or dsp up to 10amp of draw for amps you always go to the battery. You dont want to risk your computers

@ashton8565 that is just a single conductor wire that normally comes in a power kit

No you would want an R2G T-harness with a linkDQ to add just the subs. It will give you the rca and remote output you need. Then just run your power wire and your ground and u are done

Correct amplifiers like that lc4.800 or link700.5 take in a high level signal and dont need a pre amp signal

Its an RTA that connects via usb. You can go on Amazon and get one for 60 or 80 dollars. Unless you do this for a living, there is no need to spend the 1000+

If you already have the lc2i yes otherwise i would recommend a linkDQ or bassrestor much better product and tuneabilit. You will need both left and right signals to get a true mono channel

If you plan to upgrade the doors and add a sub all you need is a loopback harness with a 5 channel amplifier. The loop will give you signal and the return back to the speaker location. So no new wire runs are needed
