This has been the best game in years. Best game since the old Dave v Carlini trashtalk showdowns. The trash talk here was unreal. 4:09 "Nice Mike, that's gonna be a queen" was fucking phenomenal. And all of the various "NICE MIKE!!! HE'S NOT GONNA SEE THIS!" followed by "Oh shit.. he saw it" by Carlini. Dear God. This was quintessential Coffee Chess. I used to watch Coffee Chess videos every single upload, back from literally the first upload I believe. Think I stopped because I watched every single video and we had a Dave dry spell, it's been.. what must be 2 years or so by now, and I'm so glad that the pure Coffee Chess energy is still here. Never change!

It was a great tip from Hikaru there. I went back a couple times to see what Hikaru was trying to explain to Mike and I'll try and remember this tip. For normal people like us it's harder to see so long into the future but Hikaru knew from the start that what he was aiming for was to create an outpost knight as soon as he saw the basic pawn structure Mike had chosen to go for. Very fascinating stuff. And seeing Mike get into ultra-serious mode listening to the tip and taking it in was wholesome ! :)
