Great video, will be watching several times to study. It’s hard to find up to date QID content so this was a godsend. It was very instructive to learn when to pursue f5 versus c5 structures.

@@GMNeiksans sorry to bother you again Arturs, do you have any recommended books or courses for the Nimzo Indian? I primarily 4... 0-0 against e3 and Qc2. Thanks in advance!

@@fazzolarijames Hi James, I'm not sure but did you check any Chessable courses? They have a very impressive list of authors! There's a free shorter version of every Lifetime Repertoire - maybe that's what you're looking for.

As a Queen’s Indian g3 Ba6 player I can’t find anything decent against 1. Nf3 to avoid being move ordered in the Bb7 line. Per example 1. Nf3 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. g3 b6 and I’m forced to play Bb7. I had a look into 1. Nf3 Nf6 2. g3 b5 but I don’t really understand what I’m supposed to play for, maybe you can make a video for this interesting Line?

I would try to play something which is not normally available with White's c4 and d4 to make sure that you can't be tricked that easily with the move order. Maybe 1....Nf6 and 2...c5 to play ...d5 ideas next? I know it's a standalone continuation, otherwise switch to ....Bb7 lines.

Love your videos and courses on chessable. How about writing a course on the Queen's Indian for chessable? That would be amazing!
@GMNeiksans2 жыл бұрын
Hi Gerald, thank you! I offered to Chessable to write LTR: Queen's Indian as my first course in the end of year 2020, but they said that there are such big names as Radjabov and Karjakin interested to write it. Eventually I landed with 1.c4 e5 :)
@geralddriner75562 жыл бұрын
@@GMNeiksans Ah, that is good news! I am pretty sure that looking at the past few months, Karjakin is never ever going to publish a course on chessable. Radjabov? I don't think that he has the time now or is really interested (a LTR Sveshnikov by Radjavbov has been on the publishing list of chessable for around 2 years now). So maybe you could try and offer it again (especially since you may not have been on their top-10 author list back in 2020, but definitely you are now thanks to your courses, videos and chess24 live commentary which also means that "buyers" are more familiar with your name and playing and presenting style). Furthermore, your course on QID would be special as you are not trying to look for the best lines to kill the game, and you explain plans and ideas, and you play the opening (like the Kan). And by looking at chessable's publishing schedule I have the feeling that chessable is kind of running out of courses and ideas since they need to offer so much new stuff every month to keep the ball running... So, I do see some dynamics now ;-)

@@geralddriner7556 I will think about it. :) There's plenty of ideas that I could do and not so much time to do them all!

@@GMNeiksans I really hope that u can make a queen’s Indian LTR in Chessable because it doesn’t have any qid course in Chessable

@@terencefans2563 I did offer to write it about 2 years ago - they were hoping for some bigger names to do it, like Radjabov or Karjakin.

What about the 4 ... Ba6 lines? Do you not recommend learning them over or along with the 4 ... Bb7 lines?
@GMNeiksans3 жыл бұрын
4...Ba6 is also fun but I think it makes sense to study Bb7 first and then expand it with Ba6 for more variety
