Thank you, Ginger GM. The knight fork that wasn't makes me feel a little better. Of course, you're a GM that made a rare slip, whereas I routinely blunder. Still...

Again, very instructive vídeo. The missed fork in the first game shows that one common mistake is not to punish the opponents blunders.

The nice thing about winning the tempo is that you can then afford to "act" and your opponent has to "react"! Which makes all the difference.

Hahaha Qg6 just like a 1298. Botez speed run. Nxf6 no? Thanks GM Simon, you still would have won the game a Queen down. Sac it on purpose to a 1300-1400 next time, would be very exciting ! I'm going to teach you how to get a good position with almost no time on the clock while I speak complete gibberish to much lower rated players and on no . Funny chess thanks
@happyhornet10002 жыл бұрын
Presumably your opponents know they are playing a GM? I know it says GM in the player name, but lots of people use GM in their names. Do they know they are playing an 'actual' GM, as the rating is clearly not a GM rating. Hopefully everything is above board. No pun intended.

WTF, queen blunder? Is this botez gambit ?
@TheSludgeMan2 жыл бұрын
Trivial detail to pick up on but it'd be cool to see you not always referring to the opponent as 'he'. Even though 9/10 that'd be right it's one of those little ways to be gender inclusive init
@richardmarlborough62692 жыл бұрын
how can a GM blunder?!
@dsrguru2 жыл бұрын
GMs blunder pretty often in fast time controls even when they're not dividing their concentration between the board and a camera. These kind of blunders are much rarer in classical chess, but Bobby Fischer famously trapped his own bishop in a world championship match, as did Ian Nepomniatchi this past year.
