A special blitz tournament to celebrate the 40th Birthday of IM Richard Pert & GM Nick Pert (22nd Jan) and 50th Birthday of IM Ali Mortazavi (20th Jan).
Open to all GM’s plus British titled players (WGM, IM, WIM, FM, WFM) and selected invited players.

Invited players included such legends as Morozevich, Adams, Svidler, Jobava and Lawrence Trent,

Love the vids! A bit of constructive criticism: the audio of your intro is always incredibly higher then the volume of the rest of your videos. I think you could do with lowering the volume of your intro some; it would be much appreciated from some of us headphone wearers. Thanks for all the awesome content! I really enjoy and appreciate it!

Exellent Karpovian game against mesutgm. A positional domination at 21:31. Black was basically paralyzed the whole game

You can open tournament standings page in incognito window to avoid new game popping there and saving some precious seconds on the clock. Good games!

I love how under-stated Simon Williams is.. "Oh no.. i am running out of beer! Oh no... I need to re-position my screen.. (meanwhile runs over 2 or 3 GM's!). That is mastery right there.

He's entertaining but he plays like a 2100 - most people want to watch grandmasters who play high-quality chess;) No offence to Simon though, he's a great player when he's in form

@@husejnmuratovic2428 You can't be that dense. If white takes the rook, white queen takes on h7 checkmate. If black's response is pawn to g6, then white has taken a free knight.
