I got the short and sweet but I also went for the 50% off deal. Never hurts to give a little support for a nice guy and a great instructor

thank you GingerGM before I using a Colle System thru my opening repertoire. Now I using a transposition opening, The Jobava London System is very effective against a strong player.

Interestingly, Stockfish on Lichess calls the position after 8. e3 as -0.6 (I know this is 2 years later). Still I am looking forward to playing this. Also per the engine, Black's big mistake was Nf5, then it's all winning for White

nice video, I recommend your London and jobava videos really helping my success rate with white. I had a nice win against a much stronger player with that h4 0-0 h5 Nxh5 Rxh5 jobava line. and managed a win with white against a 450 stronger player in another line you showed on your latest chessbase London video that was me ecf 144 versus a 201 rating. I like to think I played my part too :)

Amazing content Simon, thank you.👍 Sometimes you play the Pirc, I would love to see a more longer game of you, with the Pirc and if possible, a video on it. I would certainly buy it.💸💸💸 Keep it up, all the best. 💪

28:26 wasn't Qxc4 winning on the spot? The more I look at it I cant find any counterplay. (update: ok, i did put it in engine and turns out black ends with a strong passed pawn...)

Chessable really sticking it to us stateside. Different price (nor 50% off) for us heathens. Still bought it, but hope you are getting a different point participation for purchases in the US! For the curious: $130.00 full price, $70 discounted.

30:48 Isn't ...Ne7 possible here? If Rb8 then he can block with ...Nc8 or ...Rc8, right?
@zenchess5 жыл бұрын
It's possible but in general black is worse, white can try something like Rd7xd5, or pushing the a pawn to tie up some black pieces, and white's bishop keeps constant threats against black's king
