Not comparing only telling differences baseball is tough to bat because batter have round bats but in cricket it's easy to bat as they have broader bats. Both sports are great 👍💯

And the ball is nowhere near as hard and fast as baseball fielders. Baseball short stops and outfielders are clocked throwing in the 90 mile per hour range quite often by their statcast. Cricketers simply do not do that, and if they do... its incredibly rare.

Cricket batters can put on a batting performance where they continue to hit ' homers ' until they get out 5. Cricket bowlers can be fast, medium, slow 6. Cricket bowlers can send the stumps flying 7. Cricket bowlers rotate so that you can see more in action 8. Cricket fielders have to hit the stumps to effect a run-out (smaller target than throwing to fielder) 9. Cricket fielders have to catch with their bare hands 10. Cricket players have to be better behaved. No arguing with umpire, fighting, kicking dust etc

Baseball is mostly a pitcher's game. Whereas cricket is an all team effort where every person matters. Batting in baseball is one-dimensional, where you are restricted within foul lines. Hit it fair and you must run no matter what. And your batting for that at-bat is over. In cricket a batter can bat as long as he doesn't get out. Has the option to run or not if he feels he will be safe. Has the ability to play 360° degree all around the ground and hit some crazy unorthodox shots. Whereas in baseball it's the same typical one kind of swing or an occasional bunt shot. And there's still more differences between cricket and baseball.

Can't fathom how US do not know about Cricket It's all over UK But I guess it's the brought up and the things they consider as fun Baseball and Cricket are similar But in Cricket you will need a lot more than just power hitting or power throwing Because the ball pitches on the ground, there is Seam movement, bouncers, Swinging ball is not the same, leg spin, off spin. Batsmen will have to deal with all this While baseball, you throw the ball and hit the ball Once you start playing cricket putting aside preconceived notions or prejudiced thoughts imposed on you and try to enjoy the game of cricket, you will love it Just make sure to play with proper equipment and in a proper ground One distinct beauty of cricket is you don't have to really well built to master the game. You can use your skills more rather than brute strength. But you can't do that in Baseball. That's a Fundamental difference in thought process.

Cricket is more technical game than baseball. Grounds are 360degree and No foul field. and big difference is that the pitcher(bowler) can bounce the ball. Ball can spin or bounce after touching the ground. 11 players everyone get one inning to play and can stay on pitch until gets out. You don't have to swing at every ball; instead, you play according to the pitch. If it's outside off-stump, you can cut it in square, and if it's on the leg side, you can pull it. You can also score runs by placing the ball in the gaps. It's a very strategic game, not just about using muscle power.

I always find it amusing that the USA played the first official international cricket match ever between September 24 and 26 1844 at the St George's Cricket Club's ground at what is now 30th Street and Broadway, New York, against Canada, who won the match by 23 runs. This first match went on to produce the first international series, the Auty Cup, well before one of the most famous and enduring international cricket rivalries kicked off between Australia and England in 1877.
