I absolutely love that she got the chance to be on Broadway. I got the amazing opportunity to be on Broadway back in 2012 and it was the absolute best feeling ever. Her life has officially been forever changed thanks to those amazing people.

She seems like an awesome teacher and I'm glad she was able to have this amazing experience. I don't know why they said "The audience would have never known that was her first time on stage" when in the segment about her she talked about how she has been performing all her life. It was her first time performing on Broadway, but far from being her first time on stage. The type of confidence she showed in her performance comes from experience.

This is so sweet and wonderful and amazing and it just goes to prove that no matter how crappy the world is right now and how many horrid selfish people there are that are trying to make THEMSELVES or the people they work for the center of attention, there is STILL some good on Earth and in the people on it and others who are trying to make people's lives happier and show love. Enough of the well wishes! If you really care about teachers, start writing to your state and federal officials to demand a raise! When we have teachers working two or three jobs just to make ends meet, something is seriously wrong! In California, a congressman introduced a bill to "increase teachers salary" the only problem is that the bill merely encourages districts to use the money for actual teachers salaries, it is NOT a requirement so they leave it up to the superintendents and school boards to use the money as they please, like giving themselves a big, fat raise! WTF?
