this was a concert my father sponsored. i lived in las vegas at the time, and i was very lucky i wasn’t there that night. gun control is an absolute must, to prevent these kinds of situations from happening again. this event still lives in my mind, and i have no doubt it is in the minds of all the victims families. horrific.

I Live in Vegas & we Love our Guns. I also believe in Firearm Safety. I’m not big into the lingo but BumpBolts aren’t a thing. A BumpStock is something I’ve heard of but it DOES NOT make your rifle an AUTOMATIC. An AUTO (media refers to FULLY AUTO ASSAULT RIFLE..smh) but an Automatic rifle fires MORE THAN ONE bullet for every Trigger Pull.. A SEMI-Auto rifle Fires One and Only One bullet for every Trigger Pull. The BumpStock isn’t a bolt that suddenly makes your rifle an Automatic. I would say it increases fire rate but doesn’t change the definition of auto. It just doesn’t. The BumpStock just uses the recoil to move the rifle in a side to side motion, using your finger to “pull” the trigger for every recoil. Just remember though, guns are like cars... the people that sell you them just assume and hope you will be using the weapon or in this case driving the car responsibly. Someone can jump a curb and run over many people causing horrible damage but it wasn’t the cars fault. It wouldn’t be reasonable to say we need to ban cars because they are bad they are killing machines. I mean cmon at a certain point people have to realize this kind of stuff is horrible but we need the focus to shift to health care. If it was not expensive to have insurance more people would go thus increasing the proper diagnosis of mentally ill persons. Just food for thought. And above all God Bless!

Look at how many people are affected because of lack of gun laws.It is not just the dead or wounded,but extended families and friends,which could be many thousands or ten's of thousands of people.The laws should be against the gun manufacturers the ones that make and sell these deadly weapons.

Of course something could be done as a collective. if people just give up using high-powered weaponry fully automatic and semi-automatic weapons? bye foregoing there pleasure for the sake of other people's lives!! this is not a lot to ask from anybody.

John sweda it is a lot to ask from everyone. Practically every weapon purchased for self defense is semi automatic.
