When a load of them return to France and tell their friends that they were turned back, they'll think twice before paying the gangs for a poor chance at success. The business model collapses, the gangs move on to something else and the boats stop.

All so France do not have to take back the migrants as they are all so illegally in France and not French citizens. Ironically when we were in the EU, we were legally allowed to send them back to the country they illegally entered from. We can no longer do that as we are not apart of the EU.

Keir Starmer put a lot of effort into preventing grooming gangs getting prosecuted for the sake of diversity. Starmer singled out the Bangladesh community by saying 'people coming from countries like Bangladesh are not being removed' . The topic of discussion was illegal immigrants but Starmers choice not to clarify this in the above statement makes it sound like the typical ''go back to your country' racist rhetoric. Labour will welcome immigrants in the hope that they will fill jobs in the NHS, but the NHS can't be fixed with people or money. NHS staff are the modern day equivalent of Miners (I was one) most being lazy greedy and overpaid. Lack of adequate control has brought about a general lack of discipline and morale. Starmer will never fix it with his idea of paying for more staff (it already has too many) The existing people need to be made to do their jobs better. Give Reform UK a chance.

Also the below mentioned rule for student and graduate visa should change. "It is also worth noting that employers do not need to pay the Immigration Skills charge (currently priced at £364 per year of sponsorship for small companies, and £1,000 per year of sponsorship for medium and large companies) if sponsoring a Student visa holder to switch to the Skilled Worker route. In contrast, this charge would be applicable if they were sponsoring a Graduate visa holder." This rule clearly encourages people coming to study here focus on not studying, but to change to a skilled worker route. In reality, the students who come here to study should actually focus on studying and then look for jobs during their graduate visa term which will allow time for them to move to a better skilled worker route employment. This step will in turn helps the government not to rely on hiring other foreign skilled workers. Thanks

We need an effective immigration regime. Stop the boats , but don't deny asylum to people who are already in UK with lots of dreams, Allow Skilled immigrants to migrate smoothly , also more opportunities for graduates from UK universities, ( especially reducing the annual salary requirements for them) and control those low ranked universities who exploit foreigners to attract to less valued degrees, thanks
