Nah, already people are saying they prefer Sunak to Starmer. People have short memories and Labour are going to be a terrible government if the last few months are anything to go by. We’ll be desperate to see the back of Starmer in a year.

@@Stealth360stealth really? All the “Real Conservatives” are going to Reform and 2019 conservative voters are following suit if you look at both the Tories & Labour they are essentially the same trying to win over the same crowds with nearly the same policies!

@Terrifictreacle778 Yeah, Robert ‘Generic’ will really inspire people, Farage certainly can’t match his immense charisma… When the Brexit Party were on the rise in 2019, the Tories had a silver bullet; Boris Johnson. I would vote for Conservative because they are actually doing something round my local area so remember it’s about local elections now so concentrate on your local area and see if any of the parties are doing well. I don’t see any point for me voting for Reform or the other parties if Conservatives are doing what they said they would do for my area so Conservatives aren’t bad at all probably in other parts of the country but it’s a huge country so it’s always going to be a challenge for anyone in charge to improve the country at once.

Does anyone really believe that these candidates can actually relate to the younger generation? It's a complete joke, their older voters will not be around forever and therefore it's the young generation that must be considered when thinking of policies, etc. Labour relates to younger voters, therefore they will be in power for a very, very long time.

@lloydjones7925 Ай бұрын
@@jakeholland9502 @ianbetts4435 He is just filling his own pockets - I don't care if that is declared or not but it is plain to see for anyone who is looking. Most people don't have benefits of the job like that and if he was in Business many of those same benefits would be taxable even if they were genuine. That is an issue for many folks even pushing the hypocrisy to the side. Especially with how he presented himself before the election. Initially it looked like he kept to the rules - but no its less clear given investigations are now happening. Even if he kept to the letter of the rules he smashed the spirit of the rules and I would say the rules may in fact me wrong to begin with. Fundamentally should MP's have different rules and work place benefits to everyone else - this is either a Yes or a No whatever you decide. I could be swayed to either view here but the rules (whatever they are) should apply to all governments and MPs equally regardless of party. Certainly it cant be scandal for Boris to accept gifts and acceptable for Starmer when he does the same. Starmer has taken more gifts than even Boris did.
