I don’t see any point for me voting for Reform or the other parties if Conservatives are doing what they said they would do for my area so Conservatives aren’t bad at all probably in other parts of the country but it’s a huge country so it’s always going to be a challenge for anyone in charge to improve the country at once.

@lloydjones7925Ай бұрын
@@jakeholland9502 @ianbetts4435 He is just filling his own pockets - I don't care if that is declared or not but it is plain to see for anyone who is looking. Most people don't have benefits of the job like that and if he was in Business many of those same benefits would be taxable even if they were genuine. That is an issue for many folks even pushing the hypocrisy to the side. Especially with how he presented himself before the election. Initially it looked like he kept to the rules - but no its less clear given investigations are now happening. Even if he kept to the letter of the rules he smashed the spirit of the rules and I would say the rules may in fact me wrong to begin with. Fundamentally should MP's have different rules and work place benefits to everyone else - this is either a Yes or a No whatever you decide. I could be swayed to either view here but the rules (whatever they are) should apply to all governments and MPs equally regardless of party. Certainly it cant be scandal for Boris to accept gifts and acceptable for Starmer when he does the same. Starmer has taken more gifts than even Boris did.
