In between all of that the roads will still be awful, people will still die in small boats, family's will struggle to put food on the table and homelessness will not be resolved. We all deserve better!

A small boat in one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world. Which also happens to be a stretch of water which can change from duck pond to treacherous in no time, (trust me I’ve sailed on it). If that isn’t going to put people off, why would anyone think that a comfy seat on a flight would!? I’m sick to death of this smoke screening. Notwithstanding the fact that 1.13 million came completely legally. Against a tiny percentage of that on boats. The media needs to call this out more and stop this rampant bollo taking up so much air time. Because while the boats should be stopped for humanitarian reasons if nothing else, immigration is far less damaging than tax evasion to this country. The uk owns around 40% of all offshore tax haven territories. Not a mention of it.
