I work as a cabbie in South Wales. On five days I have approximately 200 people in my car every week. To those that chat about politics, they're all saying they're voting Reform. Whether they do is another matter but it's interesting to hear the utter disillusionment with both Labour and the Conservatives. And the anger over the default 20mph is still palpable here, 15 months after it was implemented. Another example of (Welsh) Labour just not reading the room.

The biggest problem that nobody seems to be talking about is the fact that we’ve almost completely deindustrialised our country. We don’t make anything anymore, and even then most of what we do make isn’t exported. It has to be one of the biggest reasons why QOL for the average working man outside of London has declined since the 60’s.
