Just had my first time trying out an E-bike yesterday, but did not try it on a trail. E-bikes would definitely be a fun thing to ride for places that doesn't have lifts. I wish I have money to purchase one though 🤠

I broke my leg on one of those Rocky Mountain E-Bike 2yrs ago! The bike was a rental and was in kinda bad shape...dropper stuck and brakes wasn't strong enough for the motor. Caution on those E-Bikes and rentals Life EXPERENCE 😄✊

Wow! That sounds like a horrible experience…and it’s funny you mention that because I’ve felt that sensation before with the heavier e-bikes and brakes not feeling quite adequate to stop the mass. Sorry to hear about your leg!

So I currently have a Polygon T8, which I like, but looking for a faster, lighter weight bike like the Element - I live in Texas where its mostly flat, with some rocky, tech stuff so wondering the main differences you noticed between your T7 and the Element? Thanks Jared.

Bro those bikes although having similar travel figures could not be more different. I got rid of my T7 just recently bc my terrain honestly is kind of the same. I'm riding the YT Izzo Core 2 now as my personal bike, and let me tell yah....its as close as you'll get to the element carbon 70 I rode while only spending half the price. And here's the thing, don't even change the tires until you've had a chance to ride it stock. I was hesitant about the more XC type tires, but for where I'm at they're handling everything including the rocks.

Great question! I’d say I liked it marginally more, but then again the build I rode was $7000 where my izzo was only $3300. With that being said, the izzo is a MUCH better value. Just my 2 cents there.

Btw is slx cassete better with xt rd or slx rd and xt casete cause xt’s cassete is lighter And have you heard about garbaruk cassetes those weight lighter than xtr and cost half Pls do a re

So the Cassettes will perform with either of the derailleurs as the whole Shimano 12s line is cross compatible just like SRAM is with the eagle lineup. The cassettes will perform almost identically, but just have a difference in weight. The derailleurs and shifters will provide refinements in how shifting feels as you go higher up in the tiers. I find the XT to feel crazy good! As for garbaruk, im familiar with them. I have friends who have run them and said theyre quite nice.
