It's time for another GMBN face-off! Neil Donoghue, Blake Samson and Rich Payne go head to head fighting for the crown of the best tyre combination. Each of them will set a series of challenges they all have to complete, whoever loses on the challenge will gain a letter. The first to spell out G.R.I.P. will lose, the person with the least letters wins! 🏆

Currently schwalbe 2.25 ice spikers on the hardtail. Maxxis. 2.5 Dhf front and 2.3 minion ss rear on the fs trail bike. Not using the DH bike at the moment but I'll try some Michelin next summer...

That was fun to watch. Blake truly is a powerhouse though, he flew on that last bit. When it comes to jumps, let's just say British Airways probably has less air time than Blake. Neil is definitely king of downhill. Rich on a light bike is going to bring his XC skills to bear for sure. Now what on earth caused Neil's mechanical at the end there?

@@gmbn 29x2.5 attack hpl top 40 compound on the front (outrageously sticky) and then just a simple 29x2.35 crown gem folding tire on the rear. Want to go with a tackee compound flow snap tire on the rear for faster rolling. That enduro casing is TOUGH

I don't understand the hate for e-bikes I don't have one I have an itis written though and love it but you can't all tell me that you guys really love days where you're bogged out and you want to ride but it just feels really miserable going up the slightest hill me and my buddies are constantly stopping at every top of every trailhead and we're sitting here resting and waiting then you see the guys on the e-bikes go by and they're talking and laughing and looks like they're having a great time while we're sitting there with our hands on our knees breathing heavy and just waiting to recoup before going down the hill when really that's all you really want to do is go down the hill and lots of you guys ride up on a shuttle van but that's not cheating I don't understand lose the hate If you don't like it you don't like it but still don't understand the issue with e-bikes
