It’s crazy to see how top riders like Neil and Blake still have a lot to learn in the mountain bike world It just shows how many different mtb disciplines there are Great video🤘
@leaphchausew72775 жыл бұрын
I think this is the best motivational video I’ve seen. Pro mountain bikers practising skills and being out of their comfort zone. Also Neil saying he needs to practice on a smaller scale before sending it off the bench. Really impressive message about good practice there. Thank you. :)

Hey Martyn, what tires are those on your chair? Fellow para here
@soupgaming59235 жыл бұрын
Not too sure myself, however I know that Kenda make wheelchair tyres that have the same tread as the mtb ones

@skatetheglobe5 жыл бұрын
@@soupgaming5923 thanks man! I am currently using Kenda Nevgal tires on my chair but they make my chair super wide and have me banging into every doorway in my house. The deep tread also makes it easy to track dirt in on the floors. Looking for something with a little bit of width but not such an aggressive tread. Thanks again for the suggestion!

This is such a pleasure to see you guys doing trials. You connect trials with trail riding which turns every trail into a playground. The progress Blake and Neil make with Marty's advice... Incredibile! Extra point for Neil for admitting not being comfortable with the table drop. This is crucial when riding with friends if you do not want to end up in the hospital. I hope there are more episodes to come.

One of the best thing for newbs, or just those of us who really struggle with new techniques, is to see pros having to really work at something to get it right. In a way it humanizes the act and makes the technique seem attainable if one is willing to put in the sweat. Thanks guys-great video as always.

I really loved this video. So impressed by how quickly those guys pick this stuff up but also valuable to see how much respect they give to the higher risk table. I find it tempting to immediately try to move to a bigger obstacle, but this helps reinforce that it makes more sense to dial in the skill on something safe and small. To see Neil, who is such a fantastic rider, smartly bow out at the end until he has practiced more is a great lesson.

This is a great new series! And yes! I want trials progression uploads! Showcasing how to practice trials (e.g. draw ledge boundary on ground first) is a great way to get more riders involved in honing their balance and ultimately make the sport safer. Kudos to Neil for identifying when one's confidence is not up to the challenge yet - too often do we hear the "just send it" tip in the sport.
