Do you have a carbon monoxide detector fitted? The flames on the cooker were yellow which suggests incomplete combustion and a risk of CO being produced. If you are sleeping in there with your family it could be the best £15 investment you ever make. It's not called the silent killer for no good reason!

PLEASE READ !!! As a registered gas installer I can say 100% that flame has incomplete combustion and is classed as immediately dangerous!!! Do not use the gas hob until it has been inspected, its likely the wrong injector has been fitted.

I got the worx hoover body for about £70 it’s really good shares the batteries from my hydro shot also amazing, I also got a new Vauxhall combo just over a year ago it’s basically a bike garage to and from work vehicle I had it boarded out, block pod made a fork mount rail to fit my lashing point centres with a front wheel holder and I made spare wheel holder for my van rather than buying a cage that holds a spare wheel under the van, I don’t think I’ll go back to a car now vans are way more fun if you can get one with all the comfort stuff in the front air conditioning and a nice console they don’t feel much different to driving a car.

My parents took my brother and I around Europe in a VW Combivan for 18 months in 1969 (I was 7-8 years old) ! I slept in the pop-up roof 'tent' and loved it even in winter in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Best experience ever...I've travelled a lot ever after, but nothing beat the family adventuring together. Enjoy it together for aa long as you can.

I wasn’t gonna post a comment. Like many of us, we don’t ever bother. But I’ve come back specially, credit where credit’s due and all that👍 I’m sure I’m one of many that watch this video series and loved every second! Blake and Martyn’s chemistry on camera is fantastic it’s just so genuine and honest. There’s something quite humbling when mistakes are made and shown in a build series as it actually connects with the viewer. Kudos to all the guys involved with this from Blake & Martyn to camera men and editors. Thanks for the laughs… right I’m off better get cracking on my own van if I want it done for summer! See you at the trail head! ✌️ GMBN for the win 👌

So happy you finish this. As a lifelong Car Guy I would say that at least half of the projects that get started never get finished for all the reasons you experienced yourself. All of us need a Martin in our lives to help push us over the top or lend a hand when our skills run out. It's a hell of an achievement even with a budget and a camera crew. Anyone who's done an intense build knows that first-hand. Congratulations, those boys are going to love that thing even more than you and your wife!!!

Looks sweet! One thing every adventure van with a kitchen needs is the ability to swivel the cook top out the door because some smells you can't ever get out of your camper or van. Almost anything you fry will in no time permeate your soft materials. External cook top in a slide out cubby is a good option. They have them on some pull campers.
