It does work! I just fitted the sensors to the old spare and placed it on the roof. Happened exactly the same thing as in your video and finally the light was gone. THX!

Thanks for the link. I ordered the tool,had tires replaced and sensors changed and that annoying message continued. I'll give it a shot since you cant expect the rockheads at any of these large super shopping centers with tire centers attached to figure it out. I've been mechanical technician for 42 yrs and it's a shame that you have to go back over someone elses work that u already paid for,pretty pathetic. Again,thanks for the link,i do heavy industrial repairs but also do my own car maintenance and this little gadget should save me $$$.

I did it the user manual and the tool way but never get the two honks at the end.

What brand tpms sensor did you use? Im in the automotove repair business and use autel for nost everything except Toyotas. Toyota s dont like autel sensors. I just replaced one in this 07 Colorado because it was dead. Reprogrammed as you did. But when your done, it is necessary to drive it fir the light to go out. I did that and the light went out. Unfortunately a little later i noticed the light flashing again. On and off while driving. Wondering if its the new sensor i put in. Ive used them many times before on gm cars and full size trucks with no issues. First time on a Colorado,but i dont know why it would be different.

I think you need to turn the ignition off after you do the reset procedure then start the vehicle. Light and tpms message should be gone
