GMC's 2024 Acadia is Practically a Different Vehicle

The GMC Acadia is completely redesigned for the 2024 Model Year and so is it’s entry-level trim level: The Elevation.
GMC has done away with the SLE and SLT trim levels and instead combined the best of both worlds into one trim level. The result? An affordable mid-size SUV that doesn’t skimp on the creature comforts.

This is a great looking Mid-Size SUV! I would like to make these few suggestions to make it more desirable. Exchange the 20 inch wheels for 18 inch wheels to improve ride comfort on the Elevation Trim. Add the option for a 40/20/40 second row bench seating. Second row passenger window shades. Locking gas door. Eliminate Paddle Shifters. Move Reverse Lights from the rear bumper to the cross strip on the tailgate. The most important recommendation is to exchange the 2.5 Turbo for the 2.7 Turbo in the GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado pickup trucks. This communization to one engine choice will reduce manufacturing and inventory costs for all of these four models, the Acadia, Traverse, Canyon and Colorado and give this vehicle more power. I hope someone from GM reads this post and takes my suggestions seriously since these are the changes I would like to see in the new Acadia.
