Hugh Janus my parents had a 2003 Chevy Tahoe at 230,000 miles. It was a really good and enjoyable vehicle until the engine gave out probably due to what little maintenance the last owner gave it. Recommend it.

I agree. Between the two generations, the previous (01-06) looked far superior. The new one doesn't even look like a Denali from the outside. Very little to tell it apart from a base Yukon.

John Green Twin In 2016, my family rented a '16 Yukon SLT. We really were going to rent a minivan, but the rental dealership (I think it was either Budget or Enterprise) upgraded us for free to the Yukon, although it didn't go through a car wash. It was an awesome car, with 8 Speakers. But still prefer Pre-2007 GMC Yukons because I felt they've rugged forever; I could always engine swap the 6.0L for a 6.2L.

I have a 2007 GMC Denali with 168 miles on it just ran into an issue with my vehicle the mechanic said it's not getting any compression for the ones who know what type of vehicle this is a V8 which the saying the truck is just running on 7 spark plug now he said the motor is no good I never had any issues with my motor at all no smoking never ran hot never stalled out I need someone to respond to this as soon as possible

Yeah. 2007-2014 is my least favorite era of GM trucks and SUV's. The current generation (2021 and newer) looks fantastic to me. My all time favorite would definitely have to the the 2000-2006 gen.

I would have liked for you to move the trucks to show them side-by-side. That would have been a good way to show the size difference. On paper they are about the same size, but in real life, the newer one feels much smaller for some reason. I hope you'll do another video showing a Yukon/Tahoe/Suburban/etc (doesn't matter) side-by-side generation comparison.

i like the denali trim since it is top of the line but they don't offer 4WD only AWD, which there is a differance. You can not choose on a AWD whether 4hi, 4lo, 4auto, or 2WD, AWD is driven all the time and has not transfer case, only a center differential.

Get a transmission cooler installed and have a very reputable transmission shop change the fluid and filter every 30,000 miles. Also: keep up the maintenance on the front end. These full size GM trucks and SUVs notoriously lean forward on their chassis which puts a lot of weight on the front suspension components.

@edmarthemangomez123 The Tahoe,Suburban,Yukon,Yukon Denali, and the Yukon XL are all made by General Motors and were made to have that same look that you noticed, have similar engines, and run the same. Now the Yukon Denali, and the XL are both pretty much the Escalade of GMC. I'm not sure about the suburban though.

@versace615 A Yukon Denali is pretty much a Cadillac Escalade if you compare them. They both have the 6.2L V8 engine. The interior is very similar in terms of quality. The only diffrence is that the escalade has diffrent headlights, grills, taillights, and rims. In my opion if your going to get one of the two i would personally get the Yukon Denali because there cheaper but they still got the luxury you want and the presige
