I will show you how to Remove and Replace your Radiator on a 2005 GMC SUV / Truck / Yukon Denali with a 6.0 Engine AWD with rear AC/ Heater in Back. This repair does not take any special tools. I know this repair looks intimidating but it really isn't. Did you know this radiator fails at the same place a good percentage at a time. If you SUV or Truck has a lot of miles you may want to change your radiator now before it's too late. Did you know that there are 2 different Radiator core sizes. Which one does your SUV or Truck take? Watch this KZbin video a few times to build up your confidence. Check out all my other GMC DIY videos on my Channel. The link is below.

@Mark Kostelic they shouldn't be able to snap right out , they should stay in snugged and tight will cause leak thru pressure or get damaged

The darn driver side on my 13 yukon radiator split on me in the same area and im replacing with an all aluminum 2 row unit this weekend. Anyhow this is the first video I've seen with the electric and fans and "the burp". Also i like the price breakdow and knowing how much fluid ill need. Would you also need to top off engine oil and trans fluid for the fluids lost in the replacement? Thanks for the video 👍

Does it matter how you disconnect any of the coolent lines or transmission or oil lines. Taking off and putting back toghther

no, just make sure you have something to catch any drips and don't get any debris in them. You can cover the end with tin foil if you want.

@@vektorman1938 sounds like that happened before he removed the radiator, something inturnal was happening. When you remove the line and afraid you going to mix fluids just put tape over the lines.

@@notsofast2325 would aluminum foil work because I got the same truck... I was thinking he did it after and put a transmission line in the wrong hole.. So you mean as soon as I disconnect the lines put tape on them right? How would they mix if no tape was put on the lines?

@@vektorman1938 There not , i was saying that if you were nervous. Foil is better, never thought of that , thanks , but my girlfriend is going to get mad now me raiding the kitchen for foil. If you take it apart its pretty obvious how things back together. its pretty hard to screw this repair up. if you can i would replace the fans with new ones if you have the $, i wish i did that. But there is people have a short memory span or careless if that's the case they should have someone else do the repair.
