This thing actually does great in the snow, even some deep parts... I still think the ole Power Wagon and even my chevy Z71 are more confident in the deep stuff but it's nice that the wife's truck has some mild capability

I have a 2001 XL and I take it in the sand, snow and messed up forest roads and never a problem. I even had to crawl up the side of a steep slope with one side of my Yukon so another vehicle can squeeze through. These things even stock can handle anything. With the long versions you can store all your gear inside and even sleep in them.

What is the reasoning for swapping to a 4L70e, rather than sticking with the 4L65e?
