I’m glad they got it sorted after the mess with the Plague Marines. I got 4 of the same mini so ended up missing 2 of them even though it said if a case was purchased each unit was guaranteed. When I reached out to GW they said my only option was to return the box because it was a sold out item.

Loved those blood angels ones. Managed to get a hold of them all, painted them up as Lamenters and used them to play the old 2018 kill team (love that game). They never did well, which I just thought was fitting 😂

2018 Kill Team is my go-to slice of 40K.👍 I don't get the appeal of current/21 KT, unless you're a dedicated competitive player. 2018 has much greater scope for creativity and narrative play IMO. I love a good thematic/custom crew of minis with some character and some soul to them.

@@Solitary_Scribe55 right! 2018 KT is great for narratives. The vast majority of my kill teams are all conversions and kit bashes and one of my guard teams, I’ve used a Scion as a trainee inquisitor. He’s been dumpstered every single game and has rolled up dead like five times (usually right at the start of a campaign). But we’ve created such a narrative around him over the course our years of playing that every time he rolls up dead, I convert him a little more, to the point he’s now more machine than man 😂.

@@sunnysideup8138 🤣That sounds great! Reminds me of OG Necromunda, how players used to convert their minis over and again to keep up the "what you see is what you get". I've tended to kitbash more with Inq28 than KT admittedly, but I've done a home brew Napoleonic IG team, and some old school style plague marines(the current plastic sculpts are horrible imo). Are you in the UK by any chance?

@@Solitary_Scribe55 nice! I’ve always wanted to do something like that with the guard, I have way too many unfinished projects though 😅. Yeah wasn’t keen on the new Death Guard sculpts, they’re like a cats whisker away from being chaos spawns. Much preferred the older aesthetic. Yeah I’m in the UK

@@sunnysideup8138 Exactly, they look like the alien from The Thing rocking power armour. Too many mutations, which weren't even a Nurgle type thing traditionally, as far as I can remember. What's the warhammer scene like in your area? I'm in a little town on the south coast and there's basically nothing here. Fortunately I'm quite happy to play by myself.😅

Living in Japan, we get humped by the GW prices, but sometimes there are some cool advantages. I picked up a couple of boxes of the 2022 Blood Angel series on sale very cheaply last month. It's very rare I get a GW deal living here.
