Yeah, that course and tournment are extremely protective of both the name of the course and the tournment. Rick Shiels was calling the event he wanted to put on the KZbin "Masters", but he also said he had to change it's title for legal reasons. I can remember being surprised they were allowed to call their clothing drop that sping those names, so not really a surprise when they had to take those down.

Masters is a registered trademark. You are not allowed to monetize ANY content that combines golf with the word masters since it interferes with their trademark and it can cause confusion for sponsors (I assume some sponsors of Augusta sponsor specifically only "masters" events, meaning they don't want any other golf company appearing on adds that mention the name masters. Growing big enough to get noticed for these type of slams means you are actually big enough to cause a risk for their brand. if you have a "Junior Masters at *local course*" and you make 50 dollars off youtube adds everybody knows you wont get a letter. if you have 100.000 followers you will get the letter.
