I thought that too. After Bxf6 black moves pawn h6 to prevent the instant checkmate, than Qg4+ Kh7 - Qg7 #. Black also has Bxf6 Be3 left, than Qg4+ Bg5 - Qxg5 #.

AS I have stated before, I have and am learning tons. My question, when I use the bishops opening. My experience at 90% that I have had played against me is Nc6, leaving d4 open for black leaving a real mess. This is my continued experience. So the blitz aspect is hard to pull off. Any suggestions. I have viewed your bishops opening tape, 22 minutes long. Great by the way.

Puzzle of the day : No, because black has the option to block with Be6 and you can no longer take with your Knight and have to exchange your strong bishop for their weak one. Secondary answer would be that you would close the position further rather than leave the E file open for your rook for more attacks. That's my honest answer without looking at any

T3, after Nxe5 black can take take the pon next to the king, king takes, then check with Nxe4, and if kind doesn’t play Kg1 then you can check it with queen or make a queen ruck fork with the knight. In this way black has all the chances to win

Personal experience regarding *traps* is that most rarely work against other experienced players; simply play the person reactively.

No acually, white can play Qh5 and threat Qf7# and Qxe5 forking the knight and the king. Black must play Nd6 to defend both threats, white captures the pawn and have a big lead in development. I think also Qe7 works

Instead of Bishop to c5 they went pawn to d5. Wasn't sure what to do after that and couldn't adapt the strategy. Does it still work if the e4 or d4 pawns are gone? I find that beginners like me don't make the moves that you state experienced would likely make and focus on simply trying to take pieces even when they don't come out even or on top, which causes these strategies to shift dramatically.

I think after QE5 you can't save the knight. It is very tempting though. But whenever my king is exposed on diagonals or has backrank issues I always double check any move for an incoming queen check/fork.

Interesting opening, because I play similar system that club chess players do play these moves sometimes or you can improvise if they deviate. Games e4-e5, Bic3-G8f6, Bc4-Bc5, try a3-B8c6 best for me White {or O-0, or D6 all work) Then Knd5 or knh6 ok also, so F6- X E4, Knh6 - D6, d3- Bxh3, gx h3 yep! - Knxf2, and Qh5 - knxh1, Bg5, Qd7, White Wins against any defence even Fritz 5. You can play this as Black aswell works even better. I beat English female ranked 12th female in England, as she played very logically and all best computer moves. As me Black 4th move Bic3 is best for me, 0-0 is good for me, D3- more tricky. And if someone plays BB5 can do A6, Ba4- b5 ,Bb3- Bc5 to get into Italian system.Then Knd4 or can do Knh6.

trap 1: most people with common sense you use the pawn to defend (g7 pawn) ... and stockfish says its -2 or more for white ... so yeah, low risk = nope, you are giving up your rook for almost nothing
