Just getting into this hobby over the last two or three days. Purchased a GMK87 from AliExpress, along with Outemu Silent Peach V2s and a set of cherry B&W double shot PBT key caps. All in all, it costed me just under $85. I have no experience with building, programming, pulling apart, or modifying - but I am positive that I'll be using this video as a reference. Thank you for all of the information.

I just did this as well lol. I got the GMK87 with Silent Peach V2's and Womier black PBT keycaps. Very psyched, first custom keyboard and a big upgrade from a membrane Logitech.

I have one. it is a fantastic budget keyboard, with one caveat. In wireless mode, it will go to sleep, but sometimes not wake up. I installed the firmware update, but issue persists. You must switch it to another mode, then switch it back on to get it to work. The screen has only three options. (one home screen, - not changeable/customizable and two animations)

The first installation of switches might be a bit awkward but it’s not too hard to press the holes. Any swapping after that is super simple 😁
@iglesiaskun4 ай бұрын
Yes! In the beginning it felt like I was doing something wrong, but after inserting a few switches I got used to it and it was easy going forward, if you feel insecure just check the pins after inserting and it should be easy to insert it back after the first time

I was wondering between this or Aula F75 and TTC frozen v2 switches. Price-wise the aula will come cheaper as the keycaps are already there but quality-wise is there a big difference?

Hello! I have one problem with gmk87, seems like USB connection dont work at all (2.4 and bt working, but in a strange way because everytime I need to upload a JSON files to connect trough VIA app and desktop version but nevermind) I connecting usb to the pc then the this mini tv/led display turns on, but the rgb lights dont flash, also the keyboard is charging during connected. But via dont see keyboard even I uploading the Wired JSON files (both version, desktop and site), image custom tool dont work aswell beacuse dont see keyboard. There is no action and sound even if I connect keyboard to the PC, unlike the 2.4 mode. I was trying to switching between the modes in many ways but nothing help Do you know any solution for this problem? Thank you :)

Class - what parts are you going to use? I didn’t pre poke any holes which made the first switch installation a bit sore on the fingers. Installing after that was no problem!
