ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

Rewatching this, I just love Pat's character in this episode. The way he holds nothing back, he'll follow Pran across the country just to get an answer from him, the way he protects Pran from the fall, the way he's ready to scrap with Pran's friends even though he's outnumbered. Most of all I love the way that, once he understands that the kiss on the rooftop was Pran momentarily letting his real feelings show, and now he's clammed up again, he #1 assures Pran he's not interested in anyone else and #2 stokes Pran's uncontrollable competitiveness and goads him into a "wooing war". Pat is such a wily suitor, he knows Pran has deep closets, he can bury his feelings and ignore Pat all day, but he can't resist a throwdown, and that gives Pat a chance to share some romantic moments with him. For Pat, it's not about "winning" or "losing", it's about finding a way to crack his tough nut, Pran.

I just really really love how Pran legit saved Pat's *ss from being beaten without a fuss or a drop of blood. I also love how loyal he is, from the background, not puffing his chest about it, but in his own, quiet but determined way - he will never let anything happen to Pat. that's love b*tch! love's got many forms, not always loud and boisterous, sometimes it's soft but nonetheless determined and strong. I love's Pran's quiet and loyal love and I love Pat's loud and fierce love too. Both are beautiful and fit their personalities perfectly. I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH!!!

I didn't understand Pran's action in the beginning but after rewatching the series, these are my thoughts: 1. Pran had a crush on Pat, but never believed they would be together. This is why he tried to push Pat away even before the kiss. 2. After their kiss, Pran is unable to confess his love and concern to Pat because their life long rival relationship made them hard to have a heart to heart conversation even as friends. On top of that, Pran gave pat a deep kiss without fully confirming Pat's feeling for him. This hurts his pride (because their rival relationship). Pat has been pushing hard to get an explanation for that kiss, and Pran tries to avoid that conversation. 3. While in the camp, Pat has slowly melt Pran's heart. Pran realized that he cannot avoid Pat (and also his feelings for Pat) for ever. Therefore in the end he agrees to talk to Pat. 4. Because Pran was not sure about Pat's feeling, he was holding himself back at the start of the conversation. But once Pat confirmed he doesn't like ink, Pran starts to act confidently. (I loved this series so much that some nights I couldn't sleep because I was trying to understand the motivations behind their action.😂 )

almost... the reason behind Pran's withdrawal after their kiss was that he thought Pat is in love with Ink - as Pat confessed not long before to him, that he does like Ink (breaking Pran's heart). and Pat did not melt his heart slowly. Pat set things straight with the confession of not liking Ink in a romantic way. If you look at Pran's face there, you'll see the change. also the heartbreak story he told his friends, and that his "first love is dating someone" was referring to Pat and Ink, and when he said that "it hurts" that was REAL feelings. Pran has been in brutal pain for a while now, but kept it inside. Pran knew he can't be just friends with Pat, especially not after their kiss and he most likely didn't want to see Pat and Ink happily together.

I just want to say, that Pran's friends feel so much more annoying than Pat's friends. There was only ONE student from a different college that joined their volunteer trip and they think that they would be able to get away with beating up that one student?! The fact that Pran was willing to make it into another type of competition for them, just so he can cope with the fact that he desperately wants to be with Pat is kind of heartbreaking. I loved this episode so much, showing the different personalities for Pran and Pat. The moment he kissed Pran, Pat was all in. He knew what he was getting into by going to this camp all alone with a bunch of guys who hate him. He is the type of person who goes head-on once he sets his eyes on something. Doesn’t stop to think nor hesitate, willing to take the (in this case, very literal) punches along the way. Meanwhile, Pran already gave up before there was even a fight. But, when they’re together, they help to complement each other and each of their good traits helps the other person to overcome their negative ones. When Pat is not there, Pran isn’t even willing to think of the possibilities over the fear of failure and pain. When Pran doesn’t cool down Pat, Pat is hot-headed and dives head on, not caring about how senseless his actions might be and how they can affect himself and those around him. I love seeing the way they’ve learned throughout the years of being friends to actually, help each other grow. Even though it may not have been their intention.

just because they communicate in a different way doesn't make it hurtful. maybe rather that it being a coping thing, it was just simply the way they were raised, the only way they knew how to do things together. It's not necessarily wrong or right, but both of them were confused and didn't know what to do either by isolation or compulsiveness. Dealing with it in a way that both of them are familiar with make them find their own sharing comfort zone where they feel more comfortable to share this unfamiliar side if them, feelings. And that's not heartbreaking but a different way to connect, and that makes them special and make the whole act deeply beautiful in its own way. definitely some room for emotional growth!

pran is the person who always tries to keep his emotions in check, he needs familiarity to be able to fully express himself and even uses emojis to express his feelings in a simple way. that's what the bet is for, for pran to explore his feelings in familiar environment. it's not them being oblivious, it's them playing it safe when they know the other person already likes the other one but they still want to see how far they can go without overstepping boundaries and being ready for real relationship that they are aware won't be an easy one. it's also a good way for them to check how ready they are and IF they are ready and also prepare themselves in case

I think that this whole time Pran was under the impression that Pat still likes Ink and is dating her (he saw them together at the cafe etc). This also explains why Pran made the excuse that "my first love is in a new relationship with someone else" and said that "I should take a break, it still hurts". So basically Pran thought that the kiss might've been a result of the intense temporary emotions, just and in the moment thing for Pat (a kiss without meaning or true love...) But as soon as Pat says that he doesnt have feelings for Ink, Pran gets his confidence and hopes up. Hence their competitive spirit returns. Also its important to note that Pran is traumatized by their family feud (to the extent that he uses smiley emojis to express how he is feeling because theres no one else he can openly talk to about it. He's learned to suppress his emotions). His mom is outright terrifying. Pran doesnt want things to get any more complicated, or to end up hurt by allowing himself to get closer to Pat, or get transferred to a different college. He's being weighed down by all these thoughts and expectations, and on top of that he doesn't want Pat to get hurt by his friends and family or heartbroken because of Pran...

Each and every scene in this series is so well thought and portrayed that everything from the start to end feels like a breath of fresh air. I clearly loved that the running away and seeking part was shorter and how they communicated and went for competing for love cause competing with each other comes natural to them. They both know it's just for show and they like each other but for the time being with so much to think about, they can love each other in their heart and remain playful.

I'm in love with the scene where Pat holds onto Pran's wrist, with an expression on his face that says "Please, I'm begging you, stay with me a little longer. Tell me what you are feeling.. I need to hear you speak, I've come all the way here for you. Please talk to me. Your silence is suffocating me..." I like that Pat remained silent here though. Its signifies that he's not pressurizing Pran into speaking. It shows that he cares and respects Pran, and is giving Pran the choice to stay with him. But at the same time by holding onto Pran's wrist and maintaining eye contact with him, shows just how desperate and vulnerable Pat is in that moment!
