I always felt off about him... And now I know more about him... I understand why. Someone who truly has no one on their side, not even their own parents.... Is someone who has a potential to become that which they hate most... However, I'm glad Chopper has, so far, been trying to find a way off of that path. I was lucky that I actually did have someone on my side as a child... Though it took me a while to recognize it completely. My grandmother is the center of my extended family, and she took responsibility for me when my mom wasn't able to, whenever she could do so, her husband(my mother's father), however, didn't like it, and while he didn't do much physically, he did talk about how much of a burden I was. When he passed away, I wasn't sad about him passing, I was sad that my grandmother was grieving. Also frustrated about how irresponsible my grandfather had been about the possibility of my grandmother outliving him. The financial situation went south soon after he was no longer around to receive his pension, as he had changed it to a lump sum payment, with monthly payment for the rest of his life. Anyways... It's hard dealing with people who should be there to support you, are actively doing things that hurt you.

Honestly chopper is the only one I care about at this point because I know he’s either going to sacrifice himself or kill kin. Either way I’m going to feel so horrible for him. He deserves a better family and friends. I wish he had Ben still because then at least he’d have someone.

When you realize the most pitiful character in this series is chopper, he has no one to lean on whenever he's down at least Nueng has Palm he is always there whenever he needs him and chopper has None, his dad doesn't even listen to him, he was willing to sacrifice his love and see Ben with someone else even though he was hurting deep down and Ben is mad at him Nueng has distance himself from him 🥺I just hope he gets a happy ending he deserves better.

At the start when nueng was going back to work they were being so domestic 😩 my heart 💗✨

the writers drive me crazy. this show is good on many levels, actors, director, filming technique, soundtrack - but the writing fails to back this up. some parts are alright but the villainous parts are beyond belief. just take this bit here following Nueng's departure from Palm. the day before Nueng went to that empty building which has so much meaning for him - certainly not alone, his security must have been nearby. yet both Palm and the guy hired by his uncle making photos of him went passed his bodyguards. the thug appeared just at the right moment of their embrace. so what happened then? Palm took Nueng on a ride on his motorbike back to his hiding place. did Nueng dismiss his bodyguards and driver? apparently, they were followed by someone reporting to his uncle. another fail of Nuengs security. over night his uncle came up with a new plan or what? instead of just killing his nephew he sent thugs to Palms place, let them wait until Nueng left and then they had orders to take Palm back to him? I'm sorry. this writing is disappointing and falls short of all other parts in the show

the writers give their characters absurd lines (especially in those violent scenes) but Palm's reaction to this 'choice' made actually some sense. this kid of 18yrs is expected to kill either his bf or the mother of his bf. not only would this mark him a murderer and this is still a serious crime in Thailand last time I checked, it would kill his young soul too and what would be the 'reward' of this heinous act? the vague hope his father is not being killed in prison and might even get out of it. but the promise of a ruthless mobster is worthless and Palm has no reason to trust a word this man says.
