I actually kind of like the eeriness that the color grading gives Melody of Secrets, but it looks like I’m in the minority. It certainly does feel like a psychological thriller. I was also surprised that they split up the Ryu/Java pairing, but I will be interested to see how each of them does with a new partner. Each of these trailers has something interesting about it that makes me curious to see what the actual show turns out to be like.

i've no doubt that Dare You to Death's production gonna be really good since it's a gmmtv collab with Parbdee but i'm kinda 50/50 if i'm gonna watch this mainly because i'm really not feeling good with Dunk's acting.

@fodilboudjemaa9693 he's better than others and add to it his past acting experiences these years but i'd rather watch others shows that i feel good just by the vibes i'm getting at. i only follow my vibes since i'm a very good critic. it's like when you see a person for the first time and you're vibing if he/she/they can be a good friend or acquaintance.

I’m not convinced GMMTV will be able to properly balance out the BL story elements and the setting story elements, especially with so many of the announced shows relying on crime, mystery or supernatural setting. Their BL shows with an atypical setting and story elements connected to that setting usually get those aspects sidelined early on (like in “Vice Versa”, where the whole travel between worlds/universes thing quickly became an obscure gimmick or like in “Never Let Me Go”, which turned out to be a school BL topped with several episodes of shirtless PondPhuwin on an island). I’m not saying that’s a bad thing - I watch BL for the love/romantic plot line, not for the setting-related plot line. “Dare You To Death”: can’t believe they’re wasting Aungpao on another support role, like they did with “My Love Mix-Up!”. “Head 2 Head”: loved it, Keen is superb and Sea was awesome in this iteration - playful, bold, so much different than in “Only Boo!”. So glad SeaKeen are getting 2 shows next year! It’s always good to see Java, too. Also, I thought the seeing the future bit was a one-time thing, to push the plot. “Burnout Syndrome”: looks interesting, but I was never into OffGun and I can’t stand Dew. “Only Friends. Dream On”: chances are that it won’t be messy - it’ll be simply a mess; Mix could salvage it though. Seriously doubt it’ll pick up where “Only Friends” ended. “This Summer”: bring it on, kids! Give us the banter, the quirks, the tease of WinnySatang - and some romance, prince style. Ryu and Mond? Sure, why not. “My Romance Scammer”: I want to see more Fluke and his dimples. “Melody of Secrets”: I’m quite sure ForceBook won’t be able to pull that off, regardless of what the mystery actually is about.

I’m looking forward to Force and Book in Melody of Secrets. I like the color grading because it gives it that gothic mystery feel which I think is appropriate for the plot we’re shown in this mock trailer. I also think it will be more of a psychological thriller. It reminded me of a Korean film “Forgotten” which dealt with distorted memories and had a heck of a twist ending. If this series manages to maintain the suspense, suspicion to deliver unexpected twists and turns it will take ForceBook’s to the next level in their careers. 🫶🦊🍅
