I never had this addon but I got a different jumpscare. It was pictures of gore and nsfw in a colorful bg while spongebob calls you a "Bigger Flag" If you know what I mean. It also had Jellyfish Jam in the background. It happens quickly after you move and Idk which mod caused it. I suspect litegibs of being the hijacked thing. Edit: nah it was the trollface thing. probably shouldve editted this sooner tbh

The story is very confusing but I think I've pinned down something that makes a little bit of sense. So the creator of these affected addons got vac banned so he went mad and decided the best way to get payback for the ban is to traumatise unsuspecting gmod players with horrific imagery as well as insulting gabe newel by calling him racial slurs in the console and hiding text in the infected addons with lots of f words towards poor gaben, All because he got banned. Not only is it unfunny but also extremely juvenile behaviour

For the unaware, the addons that are affected are the following: glue library, and trollface (playermodel). Anything else made by the creator of those should also be uninstalled for safe keeping. And make sure to unsubscribe from them, and then go to the addons folder in the files and delete them from there too, as a safety measure.

Oh hell no, look, I've been getting back into GMOD lately, because like many of us here, I played Garry's mod alot when I was younger, and I still really enjoy the game to this day, but this makes me extremely hesitant to play it now, I'm gonna stay off of it for awhile, at least until I know shit's not going crazy. Now I never downloaded any of the glue library mods, but what I fear is what if some other modders do something like this as well? because this one decided to do this simply because he turned into an active volcano for getting banned from steam, I have alot of mods installed, so I might just have to delete all of them and be very careful as to what I'm downloading.
