Desde pequeno que ouvia a música de Lawrence Welk. Uma ótima orquestra. Estes arranjos são formidáveis, pois mantendo a melodia, trazem clássicos inesquecíveis. Boas recordações sem dúvida.

When we were little our Grandparents would watch Lawrence Welk, and oh how my twin sister and I LOVED to dance like the performers!🤣 We would get up and try to imitate them; until the lady was hoisted up above the man's head; while being spun around high above his head!😯 (Well, we tried!🤣) Brings back such carefree, lovely memories. Thanks again Gustavo for a beautiful album from your collection. By the way, I also have this album in my collection. But what makes this so beautiful, my dear wife and I can take our iPad with us and sit down outside on our poach and enjoy the music. God bless you my friend.

These are all melodies taken from the classics. Ah, what beautiful music these composers gave us! Lawrence Welk over the years also gave us an abundance of beautiful music. Since being here in the Cayman Islands we miss his replayed Saturday night programs. But, thank God we can go on KZbin and watch many of his programs when ever we like. Many made fun of him because of his German accent, but those that did had no appreciation for good music. He had "real" singers and some of the finest available musicians in his orchestra. That trash that passes for music today, for the want of a better word, is pathetic.

I totally agree with you Roy. Much of the so-called modern music is rubbish. I have watched the Saturday evening reruns of Lawrence Welk for possibly 30 years. I wouldn't miss them. In earlier times a singer had to have a good voice to be a recording star. I have no idea how our society's values have plummeted to such low levels to allow such rubbish to be called music. By the way, my favorite song by Anacani, When? (¿Cuando?) is in the link below. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKOWmIKPZrSZlbs

In singing the praises of Maestro Welk's music, why must you trash others' musical preferences? You are defiling his tradition...he appreciated and celebrated and highlighted a diverse array of many genres and artists. Shame on you for your perverse condemnation of what other musical traditions our brothers and sisters may hold dear!

Did Bobby Hackett play with Lawrence Welk?
@TFWelsh2 жыл бұрын
No, he was associated with Jackie Gleason, in addition to his solo career. Maestro Welk had many fine brass players, though. Cheers!
