I got into basket when I was 6 because practice was just around the corner but it was quite a few years untill I got hooked to it and Hakeem The Dream had as much to do with it as Jordan. Hakeem one of the greatest basketball players who appeared on that horizon. I watched him workout and play while with Ogun Rockets at Abeokuta. He was with another basketball legend of blessed memory( Yommy Billy) I am sure if post my picture he is sure to remember me. I was always taken his pictures while playing there at Abeokuta. I remember vividly one of his blocks,...while the ball was assending, supposed to touch the top of the triangle above the rim as off the glass, Hakeem from no where wiped out to the crowd. The excite was so much from the crowd, the referee stopped the game.( Ogun Rocks vs Adopt of Bangui

You’re right. However I have to note that Embiid is as of this writing the MVP favorite for 2022 NBA season. He is currently on the longest sustained run of excellent basketball in his career. He has definitely incorporated a lot of Hakeem’s moves. In fact he talks about it often. All to say he has matured a lot in the last year or two. I think a lot of his maturity has come about from him watching his friend Giannis win a Chip.
