Thank you very much for this high-tension blitz game between two giants of the contemporary chess world ! Time pressure seems to be the biggest opponent of not only the greatest of men of chess but also of ordinary men wanting to accomplish something in a short span of time !

Hi growandgame.. certainly this is the way it looks... He has been outstanding since he lost his game against Carlsen and he is yet to lost even since in over 55 games.

So there are a lot of chess commentators on youtube. It took you 4 minutes to get to the game. We only care about the point of what ever video. So you must get to point visually quickly!

Mato is in danger, this guy can commentate
@GMThechesspuzzler8 жыл бұрын
Thank you Bad Jaeaux.. Mato is in no danger.. he worked very very hard to get where he is and I have no intention in getting in anyone's way. Everyone who makes chess clips knows all too well how taxing this work is.

This game is completely dominated by Kasparov, it's impossible to say the contrary. He has a completely winning position, there isn't any merit by So in seeing his opponent making a single, disastrous blunder.

Yeah he blundered the knight but hes losing the pawn regardless and his knight is still in danger.

So is a fantastic player but he didnt destroy Kasparov in that game. He was lucky, that Kasparov blundered his knight.
@GMThechesspuzzler8 жыл бұрын
You are correct here but there have been more games Thilo. Maurice Ashley is using one of Wesley's games to teach his students and I shall be making this clip available very shortly.

I just forgot to mention that there is NO luck in chess. Kasparov's multiple blunders were a result of his time or the lack of it and this has been the main catalyst for him having lost, which led him to blunder.

If there was no luck in chess then the better player would win every time. Every move beyond what the human or computer can calculate is in the realm of luck. That's why even Houdini can win a game against Stockfish 8.
@GMThechesspuzzler8 жыл бұрын
You are 100% correct to say the better player wins and this is why the best player is the one who makes less mistakes than their rival. To bring luck into the equation is not something we can add to any chess game. You say even Houdini can win from Stockfish, but the upgrade from version 4 to 5, is a significant achievement and it is not for nothing Houdini won the Rapid and in front of all 31 competing engines.

Blunder move is still considerable even in GM. But it shows that Wesley is really good even in inferior position and black pieces.
